This week's guest on Sessions is Daryn. As you'll see from the podcast, Daryn is nothing but humble and extremely down to Earth, even when people end up calling him Deric instead of Daryn.

Full time, he's a software engineer. His hustle though is his headwear. Enter Na Caps.

N!A Caps was founded by Daryn Roberts and Rowan Carstens in 2015. Two Namibians with a passion for premium quality caps, who wanted to have locally inspired designs available on quality caps. A couple months later, Dunja Berger joined the team as a partner, bringing with her a wealth of mad marketing skills. As of 2018, Daryn became the sole owner of N!A Caps.

At N!A Caps, they've designed their own unique Namibian 'destination cap' range which is locally inspired. They showcase Namibia and local towns with designs such as "NAM", "WHK", "SWK" and "WVB". They also offer scripted options such as "Namibia", "Swakop", "Rundu", "Ongwediva" and more. There are also the famous Namibian country outline caps. Not only are their designs trendy, local and popular, but they showcase the quality of their caps.

Watch this episode of Sessions and get to know the man behind the quality cap. A hustler, a full-time worker, a family man, and a humble dude.

Today’s guest on Sessions is Melchizedek Melk-Tert Ausiku
The man behind the Lefa app. LEFA Namibia

Melkies has an interesting history. For years, he contemplated quitting his job and starting afresh with something new and innovative. Fate dealt him an interesting hand, and then he pursued to create Lefa.

More on Lefa:

LEFA Namibia is a shuttle requesting application that connects passengers and drivers. Passengers download the mobile application and are required to register by entering a valid cell phone number and email address. It allows clients to request a ride by simply entering the location to which they would like to be transported to. The app already knows the location which they are at. LEFA operates in all suburbs in Windhoek, to Hosea Kutako International Airport as well as lodges and game farms surrounding Windhoek. LEFA provides convenient cash and cashless payment options for its passengers.

LEFA allows passengers to view a driver’s profile and vehicle’s details before the ride so that they know who is picking them. Including knowing the ratings of both the car and driver from previous clients up and so that you know which car to go into. Clients can track their requested shuttle in real-time once the ride has been confirmed, no more false time of arrival. Passengers are given the opportunity to rate the driver and help LEFA improve the service.

Join us as we get all the interesting details straight from Melkies.
