Team 20,000 Votes for Yayi 2027 Announces KAKA, OSA and GASAL as Senatorial District Chairmen, Unveils Local Government Coordinators
The leadership of Team 20,000 Votes for Yayi 2027 is pleased to announce the appointment of three distinguished political stakeholders as Senatorial District Chairmen of the movement, alongside the unveiling of its Local Government Coordinators across Ogun State. The appointments form part of the movement’s strategic efforts to strengthen its leadership structure, deepen grassroots engagement, and establish an effective network across the state’s three senatorial districts and local government areas.
The newly appointed Senatorial District Chairmen are Comr. Odebode Moruf Opeyemi, popularly known as KAKA for Ogun Central, Hon. (AMB) Solomon Sunday Olarewaju, known as OSA for Ogun West, and Hon. Gazal Olasunkanmi, popularly known as GASAL For Ogun East. Their appointments reflect the movement’s intention to draw on the experience, political networks, and organisational contributions of established stakeholders in building a coordinated structure ahead of the 2027 Ogun State governorship election.
As Senatorial District Chairmen, the appointees are expected to provide leadership and coordination within their respective districts, strengthen communication between the state leadership and local structures, and facilitate cooperation among Local Government Coordinators. Their roles will be central to ensuring that the movement’s programmes, information, and organisational activities reach communities across Ogun State.
The movement considers effective grassroots engagement an important part of its organisational vision. By establishing leadership at the senatorial and local government levels, Team 20,000 Votes for Yayi 2027 seeks to create a clear channel of communication, encourage wider participation, and provide a platform through which members can contribute to the movement’s activities and objectives.
The unveiling of the Local Government Coordinators further reinforces this commitment. These coordinators will serve as the primary link between members at the grassroots and the movement’s leadership. They are expected to coordinate local activities, maintain regular communication with members, facilitate information sharing, and strengthen the movement’s presence within their respective communities.
The leadership expresses confidence that the collective experience, dedication, and organisational contributions of the newly appointed chairmen and coordinators will support the development of a disciplined, connected, and functional network. Members are encouraged to maintain close communication with their respective coordinators and work collaboratively within the movement’s established structure.
Team 20,000 Votes for Yayi 2027 remains committed to its mission of building a broad network of young professionals, technocrats, entrepreneurs, students, and other citizens who share its support for Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola (Yayi) ahead of the 2027 Ogun State governorship election.
The movement congratulates KAKA, OSA, and GASAL on their appointments and calls on all members to extend their cooperation and support to the leadership as the movement continues to strengthen its structures across the state.
