People rarely gather to talk about the way you lifted them. They don’t pass around the story of how you gave without keeping score, how you forgave without an apology, how you stood in the gap when they couldn’t stand for themselves. But let there be one flaw and the whole room has opinions. That’s why you can’t do good for recognition. Do it because your heart is clean, because your blessing isn’t tied to their memory, and because real impact doesn’t need a microphone to be real.

When God is preparing to use you for something big, He doesn’t send you straight to the stage. First He takes you to the fire. He refines you in seasons of waiting, in closed doors, in lessons that hurt, in silence that tests your faith. He strips away pride, shapes your character, and teaches you to trust Him when nothing makes sense. Because He knows this: a vessel that isn’t refined will crack under the weight of the calling. So don’t despise the process. The pressure is producing purity. The delay is developing depth. When God refines you, it’s because He’s getting ready to use you. And when He uses you, it won’t be for your glory it will be to show the world His.
