One thing Iโm starting to realize about branding and marketing is this:
People rarely remember every single thing you post.
But they remember the phrases, emotions, and language that become attached to your brand over time.
Thatโs why some brands instantly come to mind the moment you hear a particular word, phrase, or slogan.
When I watched To Kill A Monkey, the word โBrotherlyโ stopped sounding like an ordinary word.
It became an identity.
A feeling.
A character.
A cultural moment.
And honestly?
Thatโs what strong brand messaging does.
It gives people something memorable to associate with your brand beyond just your product or service.
This is why branding is deeper than:
โ logos
โ colors
โ aesthetics
โ โposting consistentlyโ
Your messaging matters.
The way your brand sounds matters.
Because people connect emotionally before they buy logically.
And the brands that stay memorable are usually the brands that communicate clearly and repeatedly.
So if youโre building a business or personal brand, ask yourself:
What phrase, perspective, or message do people associate with YOU?
