🛑 PUBLIC STATEMENT ON FALSE ACCUSATIONS AGAINST CHIEF VINCENT UDOBI (ONWA) 🛑

My attention has been drawn to a malicious post circulating online, falsely accusing Chief Vincent Udobi (popularly known as Onwa) of assault and land grabbing. We wish to make it categorically clear that these allegations are entirely fabricated, misleading, and aimed at tarnishing the image of a man whose record speaks of generosity, not violence.

Contrary to the claims being shared, Chief Udobi has never been summoned to court, charged, or tried for any offense whatsoever. No government committee or court of law has found him guilty of land grabbing or any related matter. These stories are false, unfounded, and deliberately crafted to mislead the public and damage his reputation.

Chief Vincent Udobi is widely known across Anambra and beyond as a philanthropist, community builder, and employer of labour who has touched countless lives through acts of kindness. From sponsoring youth education and creating job opportunities, to supporting widows and funding community development projects, his contributions are visible and well-documented.

It is deeply unfortunate that certain individuals or groups choose to spread lies rather than celebrate success. Such attempts to destroy a good name built over years of service and goodwill will not stand. No amount of propaganda can erase the truth.

I therefore call on the general public to disregard this fake report and to always verify information before sharing. Let us not allow envy or falsehood to divide our community or discredit those who strive to uplift it.

🕊️ Truth may be delayed, but it can never be denied.

Anambra State Governor, Professor Chukwuma Soludo has extended his condolences to the family of Miss Chinwe Igwe, the victim of a tragic incident at the Onitsha Market earlier this week.

Police Capture Notorious Robbery Kingpin ‘Big Man’ In Delta State

A victim of armed robbery has expressed relief and excitement after learning that the suspect who attacked and dispossessed him has been arrested.

The breakthrough was achieved through intelligence-led investigation, which security operatives say remains the most effective strategy in tackling violent crime.

Police authorities confirmed that the gang leader, popularly known as Big Man, has been on the Command’s wanted list for multiple armed robbery cases, including the attack at Western Delta University, Oghara.

Earlier today at mabushi bridge in Abuja, a tragic event unfolded. A man had stopped his vehicle at a bus stop to pick up his wife when he was suddenly confronted by a group of agberos (street touts). agberos reportedly entered the vehicle and began struggling with the driver over the steering wheel. During the altercation, the car lost control and was involved in a fatal accident, claiming the lives of the man and his wife.

The three agberos involved sustained injuries in the crash. In response to the chaos and the couple’s death, an angry mob at the scene took matters into their own hands — dragging the injured agberos from the wreckage and setting them on fire.

This tragic chain of events is a stark reminder of the dangers of both lawlessness and mob justice two wrongs that only deepen the pain.

May the souls of the deceased rest in peace.
