NURSE’S SHOCKING STATEMENT ON SENATOR NED NWOKO’S HOME SETS INTERNET ON FIRE

A live in nurse, identified as Dora, has issued a written statement detailing what she described as disturbing incidents during her employment in the household of Senator Ned Nwoko, where she has worked since July 2023.

In the statement dated January 9, 2026, Dora said she began to observe noticeable changes in the mood and habits of Mrs Regina around September 2025.

According to her account, Mrs Regina started requesting that she purchase “hard drugs that needed prescriptions” and would sometimes contact her to ask about “the lethal doses of some drugs like morphine and pethidine.”

Dora further stated that on one evening she entered Mrs Regina’s room and saw “dangerous opioids, anesthesia and her regular w**d scattered all over the table.”

She said Mrs Regina emptied a ketamine injection into a flat plate and instructed her to microwave it into crystals. Dora stated that she became alarmed by the situation and immediately brought it to the attention of her employer.

In the same statement, Dora addressed claims of domestic abuse, stating that she had never witnessed Senator Ned Nwoko physically abusing his wife.

“My boss Sen Ned Nwoko neither drinks nor smokes and I haven’t heard of him physically abusing my Madam in any way,” she wrote.

She added that the only disputes she was aware of involved repeated arguments over Mrs Regina’s drinking and smoking habits.

Dora stated clearly that she never agreed to carry out any of the requests made by Mrs Regina particularly those involving drugs or unsafe practices. She emphasized that she refused to comply did not prepare or administer any substances and instead acted out of concern by reporting the incident.

The statement is being cited by supporters of Senator Ned Nwoko as one of the pieces of evidence supporting his claim that Mrs Regina’s challenges stem from drug and alcohol abuse.

Meanwhile other statements circulating publicly claim that it was Mrs Regina’s friend Ann Cassie who usually ordered and mixed the drugs for her. These statements further claim that this allegation formed part of the reasons Ann Cassie was recently arrested and charged.

According to the same accounts Ann Cassie was charged with multiple offences including claims of procuring an illegal abortion for Mrs Regina some years ago an issue Mrs Regina has referenced in one of her own social media posts as well as cyberbullying arising from statements said to be criminally defamatory and posted online.

Ann Cassie is reported to have been granted bail while the matters are expected to proceed through the legal process. Observers say the coming months may witness further legal and public developments surrounding the unfolding controversy.

Why is regina trying so hard to deny using drugs even on the face of abundant evidence

NO CAUSE FOR ALARM: A STRATEGIC ANALYSIS OF THE DELTA NORTH PRESS RELEASE ON ANIOMA STATE CREATION

The recent press release attributed to legislators and local government chairmen from Delta North, expressing opposition to the idea of locating an eventual Anioma State within the South-East geopolitical zone, presents a number of positions that merit calm, factual examination. In matters of state creation, a constitutional, multi-layered process, clarity is balm and analysis the lamp that steadies the public mind. As Shakespeare cautioned in Hamlet, “Give every man thy ear, but few thy voice”; therefore, what follows is an attentive listening to the claims made, and a measured examination of their implications.

1. The Release Affirms a Longstanding Aspiration - Yet Frames It Narrowly
The statement opens by acknowledging the deep historical roots of the Anioma statehood movement. This is accurate. The quest predates current political actors, and spans generations. However, the press release immediately narrows this aspiration to a single, rigid interpretation: Anioma must comprise only the nine LGAs of Delta North; Anioma must remain strictly within the South-South geopolitical classification. This approach raises a strategic contradiction: a historical aspiration is invoked, but the full spectrum of historical debates, including earlier arguments linking Anioma identity to the wider Igbo cultural sphere is not acknowledged. History is broad; the document selects its preferred chapter.

2. The Geopolitical Question: Identity vs. Administrative Alignment
The assertion that Anioma is “historically, geographically and administratively aligned with the South-South” overlooks the following complexities: Historically, identity debates around Anioma have involved linguistic, cultural, and ancestral ties, issues not confined to South-South boundaries. Geographically, Delta North borders the South-East and shares closer contiguity with it than with parts of the deep South-South. Administratively, placement in the South-South is a consequence of the 1963 and 1996 state boundary arrangements, not an immutable identity decision. A state creation discussion is inherently constitutional and national, not merely regional. Thus, declaring any geopolitical alignment “non-negotiable” may simplify what is, in reality, a multi-dimensional question. As the Bard wrote in Julius Caesar, “The fault… is not in our stars, but in ourselves, that we are underlings.” Decisions about identity must engage with complexity, not dismiss it.

3. The Release Overstates the Power of Local Legislators in State Creation
The Nigerian Constitution outlines a rigorous procedure for state creation. It is not the sole prerogative of State Houses of Assembly, Local Government Chairmen, or Senators of a particular district. It requires concurrence from broad national institutions, including two-thirds of all state assemblies, two-thirds of National Assembly members, support across all LGAs in the affected area, a national referendum, and presidential approval. The press release, therefore, may inadvertently exaggerate the influence of the signatories. State creation is a national process, not a district-bounded political preference. Their statement is one voice among many constitutionally required voices.

4. Silence on Key Legislative Realities
Notably, the press release does not address crucial national developments: The ongoing constitutional review process has discussed one additional state for the South-East, a long-standing national equity issue. More than ninety senators have publicly or privately expressed openness to addressing geopolitical imbalance. Several Delta legislators at the national level have signalled support for serious deliberation on state creation matters, regardless of boundaries. By omitting these realities, the statement creates the impression that Delta North alone can determine the geopolitical outcome, an implication not supported by constitutional procedure.

5. Internal Tensions in the Messaging
There is a rhetorical paradox in the document: It endorses Anioma State creation “in the strongest possible terms,” yet it simultaneously rejects one of the few constitutionally viable opportunities currently on the table. This dual posture, support coupled with rejection, is reminiscent of Shakespeare’s Macbeth, where the protagonist “wouldst not play false, and yet wouldst wrongly win.” The press release expresses desire for the end, but refusal of the available means. As an analysis, this does not assign motive; it merely identifies structural contradiction.

6. The Larger Question: Who Determines the Geopolitical Placement?
Geopolitical placement for a newly created state is not determined by sentiment, local preference alone, administrative history, or press statements. Instead, it arises from national negotiation, constitutional requirements, and the need to address long-standing geopolitical imbalance. A state, once created, is situated by federal law. The press release implies that local opposition determines national outcome; constitutionally, this is not the case.

7. Strategic Considerations the Release Does Not Engage
A comprehensive analysis must note that the statement does not address whether the South-South region is currently being considered for new states, whether the creation of a new state in South-East affects national balance more effectively, whether administrative convenience outweighs national equity concerns, or the political consequences of rejecting a viable opportunity rather than engaging with it. These omissions reduce the strategic depth of the release.

No Cause for Alarm. The Conversation is Larger Than One Document
The press release reflects a political viewpoint, not a constitutional finality. It represents a position, not the position. State creation is a long, multi-tiered, multi-institutional journey in which the National Assembly, State Assemblies, Local Governments, referendum outcomes, and federal policy priorities all play decisive roles. In Shakespeare’s Coriolanus, we are reminded that “what is the city but the people?” Likewise, what becomes of a statehood aspiration is ultimately shaped by the collective will expressed through constitutional pathways, not the fears, preferences, or interpretations of any single group.

Thus, analytically speaking: There is no cause for alarm. The process is unfolding within a national conversation far broader than one press release.

Anioma: The Journey So Far

Gloria Okolugbo

From Cultural Aspiration to Constitutional Consideration.

For decades, the idea of Anioma has lived in our conversations, our culture, our shared ancestry and our collective memory as a people. What started as a simple affirmation of identity has matured into a structured political journey that now stands before the nation as one of the most organised and credible bids for state creation in contemporary Nigeria. The renewed agitation for Anioma State is therefore not an emotional quest. It is a disciplined pursuit of equity and a response to long standing structural imbalances within the federation.

Today, the journey has reached a point where history is no longer being imagined. It is being negotiated. And it is being documented stage by stage.

The cultural foundation: Anioma as a lived identity

The earliest push for Anioma was rooted in culture. Our traditional institutions, cultural bodies and scholars consistently projected the distinct identity of Delta North. The unity of the Aniocha, Ika, Ndokwa and Ukwuani people provided the social foundation upon which political advocacy could stand. This cultural clarity remains one of Anioma’s greatest strengths. When a people know who they are, their political claims become anchored in legitimacy.

Legislative acceleration: The Senate bill that changed the tide

The agitation took a decisive turn when Senator Ned Nwoko sponsored the bill for the creation of Anioma State from the nine local government areas of Delta North. This was a historic step forward because it gave Anioma a clearly defined geographic, administrative and constitutional structure. The proposed state was not built on assumptions. It was built on an already functional zone within Delta with established boundaries, resources and local government formations.

Senator Ned did more than sponsor a bill. He laid out the constitutional framing of a viable state by providing the population data, the economic viability indicators, the administrative footprint and the cultural coherence required under the constitution. The bill therefore became more than a submission. It became the model of how a new state can be presented within a modern constitutional process.

The Senate debate that followed showed broad support across party lines. For the first time in recent years, Anioma was placed firmly and legitimately on the national legislative agenda.

Constitution Review Committee: Anioma enters the national shortlist

When the Constitution Review Committee began its national assessment of proposals for new states, Anioma stood out because it had both structure and history. At the committee retreats, including the well publicised session in Kano, and thereafter, Lagos, members examined each submission through legal thresholds, population spread, geographic continuity and administrative viability.

Anioma consistently met these constitutional requirements. The clarity of the nine defined LGAs made it one of the most complete submissions before the committee. The outcome of this rigorous process was a major breakthrough. Anioma was shortlisted as one of the viable proposals and was recognised in the national conversation as a response to the long acknowledged need for a sixth state in the South East.

The harmonised position: A unified case for one additional state

One of the most strategic developments in this journey is the conversation about a harmonised position for the proposed South East state. This debate acknowledges that the zone cannot present fragmented demands.

Groups from Imo, Anambra and parts of Delta presented their aspirations, including the proposals for Anim and other neighbouring formations. Through sustained dialogue, the conversation has now evolved toward a single united position that recognises the historical ties, cultural connections and administrative logic that Anioma brings to the table.

Because Anioma is already framed around a constitutionally coherent block of LGAs, it is placed at the centre of this harmonised outlook.

The journey so far and the path ahead

Anioma’s progress has not been accidental. It has been driven by deliberate advocacy, bipartisan engagement and respect for constitutional order. The milestones that remain include:

• the formal adoption of the boundary framework by the appropriate sub committee
• securing the required two thirds support from state assemblies
• the referendum that confirms the will of the people
• final approval by the National Assembly in accordance with constitutional requirements

Each stage demands unity, strategy and an unbroken commitment to the greater good of the proposed state and the South East zone.

Why Anioma matters

Anioma State is not merely a geographic adjustment. It offers balanced development, a more equitable federation and a long overdue correction in Nigeria’s political configuration. It aligns with the national search for fairness, stability and administrative efficiency.

The journey is far from over, but the progress so far shows what is possible when a people are consistent, organised and guided by logic, history and conviction.

Anioma has moved from aspiration to national recognition. From recognition to legislative documentation. And from documentation, it now approaches the threshold of constitutional reality.

As Anioma approaches the referendum stage, it is crucial for every citizen to understand that this is the defining moment. When people boycott voting processes or fail to come out and clearly express their will, they unintentionally empower actions taken outside the mandate of the people. The referendum is not a formality. It is the voice of Anioma speaking for itself. Any misgivings should wait for the referendum. All Anioma citizens must therefore approach the referendum with determination, without fear or favour, and vote in support of Anioma State so that the future we have worked for is secured by the people themselves.

WHEN FACTS EMERGE, FALSE NARRATIVES COLLAPSE

A New Twist That vindicates Senator Ned Nwoko’s Position

The conversation across social media has taken a dramatic turn, and this time it favours Senator Ned Nwoko. A comment made publicly by Sammy, Regina’s brother, has shifted the spotlight and raised serious questions about the false narrative that was earlier pushed online.

According to Sammy’s own statement, the swelling on Regina’s leg was the result of a medical procedure conducted by a doctor from Serenity Hospital, a rehabilitation-focused facility.

Following Sammy’s revelation, many Nigerians began raising fresh questions about the true nature of the treatment Regina was receiving. Public speculation now centers on whether Serenity hospital was purely doing rehabilitation and detox-related care, especially given the cannula inserted in her leg. The swollen at the point of the cannula is consistent with the medical evidence of an infection caused by Gina’s refusal to listen to medical advice.

These discussions intensified when Nigerians observed that the situation reportedly escalated after Regina went swimming against medical advice, a decision believed to have aggravated the cannula site.

At the same time, another question has dominated public conversation:
Why is Sammy silent on the drug and alcohol abuse discussions surrounding the four-day birthday celebrations?
This silence has deepened public curiosity about the real context behind the events.

Online analysts and observers are now asking the same critical question:
If the swelling came from a medical procedure, why was it later circulated as evidence of domestic violence?

This contradiction has significantly strengthened Senator Ned Nwoko’s account of events rather than the blatant lies and misinformation which were desperate efforts to justify non existence domestic violence allegation .

For supporters of Senator Ned, Sammy’s comments have provided long-awaited clarity. They reinforce Ned’s reputation as someone who has consistently upheld transparency, calmness, and due process. Many Nigerians are now urging the public to judge based on facts rather than emotion.

With more citizens demanding truth and accountability, one thing is becoming clear:
Evidence and unfolding revelations continue to favour Senator Ned Nwoko, and the earlier false narrative is rapidly losing credibility.

NJIKO NDI ANIOMA WORLDWIDE RALLIES BEHIND SENATOR NED NWOKO'S VISION FOR ANIOMA STATE CREATION

The group Njiko Ndi Anioma Worldwide, led by Mr. Chuks Smith (Obuzor Anioma), has paid a courtesy visit to Distinguished Senator Prince Ned Munir Nwoko in his office at the National Assembly, Abuja, to express their unwavering support for his ongoing advocacy for the creation of Anioma State.

During the visit, Mr. Smith highlighted the group’s extensive engagements in the diaspora, noting that Njiko Ndi Anioma Worldwide has been a strong and consistent voice championing the Anioma cause. He explained that the organization has held multiple meetings with South Eastern traditional rulers, Ezes, and presidents of Igbo-speaking town unions in Lagos State on the actualization of Anioma State.

According to him, these engagements have been met with enthusiasm, as Igbo communities across the South East and South West recognize the Anioma people as their brothers and sisters, sharing a common language and cultural heritage.

Mr. Smith further revealed that in the coming weeks, Njiko Ndi Anioma Worldwide will organize a series of rallies across major markets in Lagos State—including Aspanda Trade Fair, Ladipo Market, Alaba International Market, Idumota, Tejuosho, and other key Igbo-dominated business hubs—to sensitize traders and stakeholders on the importance of supporting the Anioma State creation and ensuring it becomes the sixth state in the South East geopolitical zone.

He emphasized that the movement for Anioma State became more pronounced under the leadership and legislative efforts of Senator Ned Nwoko, whose commitment has inspired renewed hope and unity among Anioma people globally.

In his remarks, Senator Ned Nwoko commended Njiko Ndi Anioma Worldwide for their dedication and proactive mobilization. He reaffirmed his determination to ensure that the dream of Anioma State is realized, describing it as “a collective mission rooted in history and destiny.”

According to the Senator, “The fight for Anioma State is like a relay race—someone began it, and I intend to finish it. This is something our people have long desired, and it requires courage and persistence.”

Senator Nwoko also pledged to engage the group in projects connected to Anioma identity and culture, including initiatives to promote Akwa Ocha and to incorporate Anioma language and cultural education into government policy to train the next generation.

He concluded by expressing optimism that, through continued advocacy and collaboration, the creation of Anioma State will soon become a reality.

THE LETTER AGU DID NOT READ 1994 DOCUMENT REVEALS EARLY ANIOMA STATE AGITATION

A historic letter dated August 12, 1994, has resurfaced, revealing the depth and early coordination behind the agitation for the creation of Anioma State. The document, authored by Chief Prof A N A Modebe, the Ogene Onira of Onitsha, was addressed to the Chairman Committee on Creation of States and Local Governments at the National Constitutional Conference in Abuja.

In the letter, Modebe reaffirmed a formal request for the establishment of Anioma State on behalf of concerned citizens, noting that the appeal enjoyed the strong support of Royal Fathers and Traditional Rulers across the Anioma area. He maintained that the proposal had earlier been submitted to the Federal Military Government and deserved urgent consideration in the interest of national stability.

According to the letter, delays in addressing the request had contributed to political tension, making the need for state creation even more compelling.

The document also carried the signatures of notable statesmen from both Onitsha and Asaba, reflecting a united front. The signatories included:

Chief Rt Hon Dr Nnamdi Azikiwe P C Owelle Osowa of Onitsha
Chief Rt Hon Dr Dennis Osadebe the Odia of Asaba
Chief Dr Ukpabi Asika the Ajie Ukadiogwu of Onitsha
Chief Philip C Asiodu the Izoma of Asaba

They urged the Constitutional Conference Committee to treat the request with seriousness, noting that the creation of Anioma State would help build a democratic polity where no group feels threatened or marginalized.

The resurfaced document, preserved in the archives of Chinyelugo Dennis Chukwudebe AGADAGBA, underscores that the Anioma State agitation is not a recent political campaign but a long standing aspiration rooted in decades of organized advocacy.

OBUZOR OF IBUSA RESTATES ANIOMA’S IGBO ORIGIN, SAYS AGITATION BEGAN IN 1939

The Obuzor of Ibusa, His Royal Majesty Professor Louis Nwaoboshi, has reiterated that the Anioma people of Delta State are historically part of Igboland. He said the agitation for proper regional placement began in 1939 when the colonial administration created Nigeria’s first regional boundaries.

Speaking in Ibusa, the monarch said Anioma communities were wrongly placed under the Western Region despite being Igbo-speaking and culturally tied to the Eastern Region. He explained that the British used incorrect geographical markers in drawing the boundary.

According to him, the correct boundary between the Eastern and Western Regions should have been after Abudu in present Edo State.

“The boundary between North and West is not the River Niger. The boundary between North and East is not the River Benue. So the boundary between East and West should have been after Abudu. We were put where we should not be,” he said.

He stated that communities such as Ibusa, Aboh, Ogwashi-Uku, Ubulu-Uku and other Delta North towns have always been part of Igboland culturally, linguistically and historically.

“We have been cheated since 1939. Our fathers have been agitating from that time. I am not a pioneer. The people of Aboh, the people of Ibusa, the people of Ubulu-Uku were already involved before the regions were consolidated,” he said.

Professor Nwaoboshi said he founded a cultural organisation in 1980 to continue the old agitation and to preserve Anioma’s identity.

The monarch acknowledged the role of Anioma leaders across generations, singling out a prominent son of the community.

“Fortunately, Senator Ned Nwoko is our son. He was standing here when we told him to go ahead. It is in his blood because his father was part of those who agitated in 1939, not from an illiterate family. These people have been championing the cause of their people from the beginning,” he said.

He disclosed that the name Anioma was created to unify Igbo-speaking communities in Delta North after other Igbo areas such as Imo and Anambra had consolidated their identities.

The monarch said historical records support the claim that the agitation predates independence, noting that a 1981 newspaper traced the movement to 1938 and credited royal fathers from Aboh, Ibusa, Isele-Uku and Agbor as early agitators.

Professor Nwaoboshi blamed political reclassification for the identity crisis among some Anioma people, listing the changes from Western Region in 1939 to Mid-Western Region in 1963 and Delta State in 1991 as sources of confusion.

He rejected modern geopolitical labels such as South South, describing them as recent creations that do not reflect historical reality.

Concluding, the monarch called for unity and recognition of the shared heritage.

“It is time they learn that we are one. Awake and accommodate your brothers,” he said.

LAND IN UGBOKO IS FOR THE UNIVERSITY. NO LAND GRABBING AND NO ISSUES OF MURDER. JUST RED HERRING.

Sowore Omoleye, the publisher of Sahara reporters has started re-enacting the same old lies he told more than two years ago - that Senator Ned Nwoko grabbed lands in Idumuje Ugboko and also caused some persons to be murdered .

As someone who has been following the trauma suffered by the 29 victims of the 2017 Idumuje Ugboko mayhem, orchestrated by Prince Chukwunonso Nwoko, the current state- installed Obi of Idumuje Ugboko, I stand a good stead to correct this malicious falsehood against an illustrious son of Idumuje Ugboko.

In 2015, Prince , now Senator Ned Nwoko, applied for a piece of land - 90 hectares- to establish a sports university in Idumuje Ugboko. The then Obi of the community, HRM Albert Nwoko consulted the members of the land allocation committee and after series of verifications and consultations with stakeholders of the four federating villages , the piece of land was duly approved by the late Obi and allocated to Linas international limited , a company owned by Ned Nwoko.

The decision by Prince Ned Nwoko to establish the first Sports University in the community was then celebrated by every community folk , including Chukwunonso Nwoko and Gabriel Ogbechie, the proprietor of RainOil. Trouble started when Chukwunonso Nwoko started to issue orders from the royal palace even when his father was still alive. As two Obis cannot occupy the palace simultaneously, some chiefs like the Iyase, Chukwuka Christopher Ogwu and the Odogwu, Chief Sunday Edemodu sought to know what was happening. For their effrontery, Chukwunonso Nwoko clamped down on them and all those who were perceived to be against Chukwunonso succeeding the late King while also threatening to banish them. The death of the Obi, Albert Nwoko under mysterious circumstances on the 6th of February, 2017 signaled a chain of events, one of which was the most horrendous attacks on innocent people in the community who dared to oppose the enthronement of Chukwunonso Nwoko .

The savagery and barbarity of the mayhem, which involved the importation of thugs and native doctors from outside the Idumuje Ugboko Kingdom left 29 persons emotionally traumatized, as their houses were destroyed or burnt . The Iyase of the community, Chief Chukwuka Christopher Ogwu and the Odogwu , Chief Sunday Odemodu were severely beaten like common criminals at the pleasure of Chukwunonso Nwoko and their houses and vehicles vandalized . Both Christopher Ogwu and Sunday Odemodu have been living like vegetables since then until the Iyase bowed to death recently, having been bedridden for 9 years. Sunday Odemodu too has become medically incapacitated for the same period .

The 2017 mayhem also resulted in two deaths - one instant and the other remote. An innocent Benue state born motorcycle rider , Cyprian Kumuolu was clubbed to death in front of Chukwunonso's House on his orders. The victim's body was allegedly mutilated and carted away in a wheelbarrow and disposed off. Till today his body has not been found while the family of the slain motorcycle rider has been in court seeking justice for the past 9 years . Also , the former secretary of the land allocation committee of the community, Kennedy Iloh who was in 2017 severely beaten and cruelly dragged on the ground to the palace of Idumuje Ugboko on the orders of Chukwunonso Nwoko , later died due to the severity of the injuries he sustained in the hands of thugs employed by Chukwunonso Nwoko.
One of the victims ,Ogbuefi Victor Omezi escaped death by the whiskers but, nevertheless had his house destroyed and his business equipment vandalized until he had to relocate abroad to find solace .

Some of the persons who were responsible for the 2017 mayhem were arrested and charged for murder , arson and terrorism and other atrocities at the Federal High court Abuja . Without any explanations or justification their trials were discontinued last year by the Attorney General of the Federation. Also, Ekemejero Ohwovoriole , the present Delta State Attorney General, who was Chukwunonso Nwoko's lawyer in the terrorism case has been using his official position to forestall justice for the victims of the 2017 mayhem. He once allegedly plotted to transfer the terrorism case from Abuja to Delta where he would enter a Nolle Prosequi and absolve Chukwunonso Nwoko and his associates of the terrorism charges. However, this is the right time for the Federal Government to conclude the terrorism case for the benefit of the victims of 2017 who are yet unable to get justice up till today. These are the criminals that Sowore and company are celebrating today and forgetting the victims . As a matter of fact , Sowore has twisted facts to make the Oppressors seem like the oppressed and the victims seem as the Oppressors. This is really unacceptable. Incidentally this same Sowore is to be arraigned on the 20th of November at the Federal High Court following Senator Ned Nwoko's case against him for criminal defamation. When the charges were pressed against him two years ago he shamelessly denied being the publisher of Sahara Reporters. Investigations have revealed that SR, which has no known office was neither registered in Nigeria nor the USA. He uses the cover of virtual anonymity to dabble into private family issues that do not concern him.

Sometime ago, after the Idumuje Ugboko mayhem, a guy simply known as Blessing went to Mount Ned, a government approved tourist site in Idumuje Ugboko with his girlfriend to swim . He entered the swimming pool without the presence of an instructor or guide and unfortunately found himself in the deepest part of the swimming pool. He died before help could reach him. The Police was promptly notified and he was taken to the Issele Uku general hospital where he was pronounced dead. The police carried out an investigation and thereafter released the co**se to the family for burial. Today, however Sowore is painting a different picture by linking Senator Ned Nwoko to the death of Blessing. All in a bid to create substance out of nothing Sowore is also falsely claiming that Regina Daniel was privy to the deaths of Cyprian and Blessing. The truth is that Regina Daniels was not in the picture at all . One wonders if falsehood and character assassination have become Sowore's stock in trade.

Only recently in September, 2025, the Obi designate of Idumuje Ugboko, Solomon Eziokwubundu Nwabuokei Nwoko, on whose behalf the community has been in court to challenge the illegal occupation of the throne of Idumuje Ugboko, died under mysterious circumstances. Chukwunonso Nwoko and his cronies shamelessly celebrated the death of his brother kinsman for days with traditional shooting of canons.

TRUTH ABOUT THE IDUMUJE UGBOKO UNIVERSITY LAND
There is no iota of truth concerning all the malicious and ill-informed stories being peddled by Sowore Omoyele concerning land grabbing of lands in Idumuje Ugboko by Ned Nwoko. The unverified stories emanated from people like Chris Aligbe and others and further harped on and circulated by a fugitive Azuka Jebose who resides in the United States of America.
A former inspector General of police had instituted an inquiry and the IGP's monitoring team came up with a report which exonerated Ned Nwoko of any land grabbing in the community. The complainants were charged to court for the offence of making false statements to public officers .

As a matter of fact , Senator Ned Nwoko paid compensations running into hundreds of millions to farmers from Idumuje Ugboko to Onicha Ugboko who made claims that their crops were affected by the land allocation . Also the police, through forensic analysis had found that the letter purported to have been signed by Obi Albert Nwoko was a forgery. Judgement on the forgery case which was brought before the chief magistrate court in Asaba by the Police in charge No CMA/420c/2016 was made and Chukwunonso Nwoko and two others ( Prince Ejimofor Nwoko and Prince Richard Obiajulu Nwoko) were convicted for forgery on the 8th day of March , 2024. Furthermore, a Delta state official white paper was made exonerating Senator Ned Nwoko of any land grabbing . The white paper emanated after a detailed report was made by the then Special Adviser to the Governor on Conflict Resolution and Peace Building , Edwin Uzor on a fact finding mission to Idumuje Ugboko. Another report was made by the former Aniocha North Council Chairman, Chuks Óseme exonerating Ned Nwoko of any land grabbing complicity. It was even the LG Chairman, Chuks Óseme that granted the customary Rights of Occupancy for the university land .

No court anywhere in Nigeria has ever investigated or convicted Ned Nwoko for land grabbing or murder of any citizen. These concocted stories being published by Sowore Omoyele and his Sahara Reporters are as libelous as they are ridiculous. Sowore and Azuka Jebose who are pretending to love Idumuje Ugboko are not from Idumuje Ugboko. It is even doubtful if Sowore has ever been to Idumuje Ugboko, neither does he know its location in the map of Nigeria. Senator Ned Nwoko had once instigated a suit against Sowore and he was unable to prove his wild allegations. The resumption of hostilities by Sowore against Ned Nwoko is suggestive that Sowore may have been hired by some of Ned Nwoko's political opponents to smear his name for political gains. But like a cat with nine lives, Ned Nwoko has always come out clean as the court of the land has never convicted him of any wrong doing all his life.

As a philanthropist, whose life is entirely devoted to the betterment of humanity, tales of murder and land grabbing allegations are just off -track and not in sync with Senator Nwoko's character and integrity. I understand that public figures often face scrutiny but Senator Ned Nwoko remains committed to upholding the highest standards of transparency, accountability and service to the Nigerian people. Recent claims circulating online by Sowore do not reflect the Senator 's record or the values he stands for. Instead of Sowore to highlight Senator Ned Nwoko's record bills and motions which touches on the welfare of Nigerians , he rather dwells on nebulous issues that bother on rumours and character assassination. Not for once has Sahara reporters focused on the iconic representation of the Senator's constituents or even the trending ANIOMA creation movement. My assessment of the situation is that it is irresponsible journalism if the focus is on hate campaign. Disputes - political, civil or personal- should be addressed through lawful channels not through public or media accusations.

The Idumuje Ugboko university land issue has since been put to rest . The Sports University is now on its third year, with many of its early antagonists benefiting from it . The sports university Idumuje Ugboko is a success story which has reverberated all over the world . It is anachronistic for anyone to be talking of the University land, four years after the the National University Commission ( NUC) approved the take - off of the University.

What is on the lips of every ANIOMA son and daughter is the creation of the ANIOMA state which is vigorously being championed by Senator Ned Nwoko . Any attempt to distract the Senator from this life changing pursuit will be dismissed and resisted by ANIOMA indigenes in Nigeria and in the Diaspora. All ANIOMA people are eagerly waiting for 2027 to demonstrate their gratitude to Senator Ned Nwoko who, in only less than 3 years in the Senate has shown amazing capacity to transform the ANIOMA landscape from a situation of lethargy to that of dynamism and realism.

God bless Senator Ned Nwoko
God bless ANIOMA
God bless Nigeria
