I remember when I made a post about bike riders some days back

Guess what?

Last week Friday I had a little bike accident, I call it little because I thank God it wasn't too serious

I just hurt my leg and couldn't walk properly for some days now

You know I do home tutoring along side my online job

And for the past 4 days I couldn't go to work because of my leg

But because of my online job I can still work from home and I was even paid that Friday I hurt my leg. Lol

What was going through my mind was

What will happen if I couldn't go to work for lets say a month and I had only my offline job to rely on?

Hmm see having another source of income can never be over emphasised and especially if that job is online

It was always fascinating for me when a material gets made into a cloth.

I always wondered how it was been done

How do you cut materials and shape it in form of clothes?🤷‍♀️

So I decide I would learn how to do it

but I was scared because I always thought it was difficult

since I couldn't picture at that time how they cut materials and join them together to make an outfit

When I started learning how to sew

I was anxious because I thought I won't be good at it but at the same time I was eager to learn

because I really wanted to know how it's been made

Maybe that's why I love that TV series "how it's been made"

After watching my boss cut and sew clothes,

I saw it wasn't so complicated as I imagined and I said sure I can do this 💪

It was time for me to sew my first cloth

You guessed right... I did awful.

It was then I learnt that watching is different from the doing but that didn't stop me and with every time I sew I got better

Now I am no more anxious of making clothes and I now see it as a normal thing

KEY POINTS:

You never feel uneasy doing something that you are good at.

You only feel anxious doing something that you think you are not particularly good at.

And in order to overcome the anxiousness,

You need to learn to do that thing and remember you may likely not get it right the first time but keep been consistent.

I hated Biology

It wasn't about the subject thou

It was about the teacher, I realized that I just didn't like that man so I never paid attention in class

I never did assignments or projects, even when I knew I would be punished for it

I am sure there was a particular subject you hated in school and it reflected in your passion for the subject.

So I ask

Why do you want that prospect to buy from you when they dont like you 🤷‍♀️

"Likeness" is one of the principles of persuasion in selling
