What do you know about the Nsibidi alphabet?

Just like Adinkra symbols are rooted in Ghana, and the Bété script belongs to the Bété people of Côte d’Ivoire, Nsibidi is deeply connected to the Ejagham people of present-day Cross River State, Nigeria.
Dating back to at least 400 AD, Nsibidi has long served as a powerful system of communication used for storytelling, record-keeping, and artistic expression.

Not in any specific order but I tell you is worth visiting with such an easy ambiance to make your trip worth it. If you are a slow traveler like me, you will enjoy the city of Uyo, Ikot-Ekpene and Eket. You just don’t visit without having a plate of affang soup.

Something really beautiful happened in this city. I was wowed, challenged and met with some hot minded creatives that won’t sleep on a vision.
