This needs to stop.

It's seems like everyone these days is starting their sales pages like this...

Not just sales pages, even ads, Banners, etc

It's usually one phrase

"Are you tired of"

Example: "Are you tired of wasting money on useless products?"

"Are you tired of wasting money on ads?" etc

Avoid starting with negative assumptions about the reader’s current situation.

If you want to sell you need to build a positive relationship with your reader

Starting with negative assumptions can put the reader on the defensive or make them feel judged, which is not a good way to build a positive relationship.

Instead you can start with a statement or question that resonates with the reader's desires

Example: "Are you looking to get more ROI from your ads?"

Have you ever been in a situation where you spend a lot of time working on a lead magnet..

It's very high quality...

You promote it, get tons of Leads..

But when the time comes to sell your paid product - you get crickets

You get no sales and it feels like all the people who opted in for your lead magnet are no where to be found

And you're confused because you literally gave away a huge amount of value that should make anyone see you as an expert and want to work with you

You know why it doesn't work out like that sometimes?

It's because you provided too much value

A lead magnet is supposed to create an open loop..

To make your leads want more which will lead them to buying your product

But If you give away everything in your lead magnet that loop is closed

They feel like they know everything they need to know and that's why they don't buy from you

Solution: give out valuable stuff but don't overdo it.

Here's a rule of thumb I normally use... Give away the "WHAT", sell the "HOW"

I've worked with a couple people who were always in a hurry to launch

I remember one time I wanted to launch a webinar funnel for a client and he was like..

"This thing will take time" "I want this offer to be live as soon as possible"

So I asked him one question. And I'm going to ask you the same question now

It should be simple for you to answer, really.

Would you rather launch fast and unprepared and gift Facebook all your hard earned money or would you prefer to launch a bit late but make profits when you do launch

You chose the second one right?

Be patient

Make sure you've got everything right before you start spending your money.

I know everything must not be perfect but at least you need to come out with something good

Most people are just really excited to go to Facebook ads manager and publish and ad and see it live

Don't be like most people. Take the time you need and prepare yourself

Hope this helps

Let's imagine you want to sell an SMM course

There are 3 main groups of people you can target

Problem Aware: These people know they have a problem with their social media presence. Maybe they're not getting enough engagement, website traffic, or sales. But they're not sure how to fix it.

Solution Aware: This group knows social media marketing can help them achieve their goals. They've heard about using platforms like Facebook or Instagram, but they're overwhelmed by all the options and unsure where to start.

Product Aware: These people have seen your social media marketing course advertised. They know you offer a solution to their problem (growing their business with social media). However, they might be considering other courses or free resources before committing.

In every market There are many more problem aware people than those who know about the specific solution (solution aware) and even fewer who know about your particular brand.

If you want to capture the biggest audience, target the "Problem Aware" group. You can do this with broad marketing campaigns that highlight the general problem without focusing on a specific solution yet.

Once you've grabbed attention, you can target the "Solution Aware" group. Now you can explain how social media marketing can solve their problem

Finally, target the "Product Aware" group with messaging that convinces them your specific brand is the best solution compared to competitors.

The reason you need to start with the problem aware is because it generally costs less to reach a large group with a general message (problem aware) than a smaller group with a more specific message (product aware).

Hope this helps

There are a couple of reasons why an ad that was working suddenly stops converting but one of the most common reasons is market saturation..

I'll explain what it means with an example

Remember when Chatgpt first came out?

Everybody was curious and excited about it and back then all you needed to do was put out an ad that promising to show people how to use it for their business and people would buy

But as time went on, more Chatgpt courses started coming out

People started becoming more educated about it.

That's what's called market saturation.

It is a situation where the demand for a product decreases because there are already enough products available to fulfil customer needs.

Which is why if you put out an ad today selling Chatgpt prompt you're going to find it difficult to make sales unless you do this.

Find a way to stand out. The reason Chatgpt prompts sold well before was because it was NEW. People hadn't really heard or seen anything like it before.

It was different

So if you want to sell in a saturated market find a way to make your product seem different..

How do you do that?
