𝗕𝗲𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗱𝗼𝗲𝘀 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗮𝘂𝘁𝗼𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗺𝗲𝗮𝗻 𝗽𝗲𝗼𝗽𝗹𝗲 𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘆𝗼𝘂.

This is something I have learnt.

You can have the right idea and still communicate it badly.

You can know the solution and still fail to explain it.

You can be intelligent and still confuse people.

You can have something valuable and still struggle to get people to pay attention.

Communication matters.

Not because you need to manipulate people.

But because value that cannot be communicated can easily be misunderstood.

✅ Learn how to explain what you know.

✅ Learn how to simplify complex ideas.

✅ Learn how to listen.

✅ Learn how to read the room.

✅ Learn how to ask questions.

✅ Learn how to communicate differently with different people.

You don't become influential simply because you have something to say.

You become more effective when people can actually understand what you are saying.

Imagine someone heard your name today and decided to check your profile.

What would they understand?

Your jokes?
Your frustrations?
Your opinions?
Your expertise?
Your interests?
Your work?
Your values?
Nothing at all?

I'm not saying every post must be serious.

Please laugh.
Please enjoy yourself.
Please be human.

But understand that consistency creates perception.

What people repeatedly encounter becomes part of what they associate with you.

So be intentional.

Your digital presence does not have to be perfect.

But it should not constantly contradict the future you are trying to build.

In response?

App update.
Messages sent to users.
Top influencers brought in to spread the news and reassure people that the business is not folding.

And just like that, the conversation shifted.

More visibility.
More awareness.
More people talking about the brand.

But you wey get business for one small town, somebody tell you to engage a professional to help put your product or service in front of the right audience, you say:

“Make we shift.”

Shift to where? 😅

Big brands understand something many small business owners are yet to understand:

Visibility is not an emergency activity.

You don't wait until people stop talking about your business before you start making people see your business.

You just need to stop hiding everything.

There is a strange fear many people have.

They think visibility means turning their entire life into content.

IT DOESN'T.

✖️ You don't have to post what you ate.

✖️ You don't have to announce every movement.

✖️ You don't have to perform online.

But there is something you know.

Something you are learning.

Something you are building.

Something you have experienced.

Something you have solved.

Something you have observed.

✔️ Start there.
✔️ Share from your work.
✔️ Share from your learning.
✔️ Share from your experience.
✔️ Share from your journey.

Not everything needs to become content.

But don't let the fear of oversharing become an excuse for never communicating anything valuable.

There are people who need what you know…And they may never find you.

Not because they don't exist.
Not because they don't have the problem.
Not because they cannot afford the solution.

They simply don't know you.

THAT IS THE VISIBILITY PROBLEM.

Many capable people think:

"If I am good enough, people will eventually find me."

Sometimes they will.

But sometimes they won't.

The world is full of people who are good at what they do.

The people who consistently get opportunities are often those whose value is easier to find,
understand and remember.

Visibility is not noise.

It is accessibility.

Can people find your work?

Can they understand what you do?

Can they see what you know?

Can they connect your name with a particular value?

You don't have to post every minute.

But disappearing completely and expecting the market to remember you is not a strategy

Cheap is not always a pricing strategy.

Sometimes, it is an identity problem.

I know this may sound uncomfortable.

But some people have become so afraid that people will reject their prices that they have built their
entire business around being the cheapest option.

And now they are trapped.

They work too much.
Earn too little.
Attract customers who negotiate everything.

And cannot increase their prices because they never built the value to support them.

The goal should not be to become unnecessarily expensive.

But you should understand what happens when price becomes the only reason people choose you.

Someone cheaper can always appear.

Build something else into the conversation.

Trust.
Experience.
Process.
Results.
Convenience.
Expertise.
Relationship.
Clarity.
Value.
