You can be creative, consistent and hardworking but if your onboarding process is not structured, you already have a problem.
Most social media managers rush straight into creating content and completely miss the most important part of the job.
Here are 3 steps to take before you start working with any client:
Step 1: Send a Welcome Package
Outline how you'll communicate, your timelines and what they can expect. First impressions matter more than people think.
Step 2: Send an Onboarding Form
This is where you ask the important questions. Who is their target audience? What's their brand voice? What are their brand colours and fonts? What are their goals and objectives? Get all of this before you start creating content.
Step 3: Book a Strategy Call
Sit down with your client, walk them through your plans and show them exactly how you'll bring their vision to life.
