“I've always disliked it when women give birth to children back to back. To me, nothing can be more "illiterateish" than that.

I mean, how can you be educated and enlightened yet be pregnant every year? You wan kpai yourself? You no wan rest?

I have an aunty who gave birth to four boys in five years, and they are all singletons, no twins. I would always look at her and say it can never happen to me.

Shey family planning no dey again ni or shey raincoat don finish for Pharmacy? Even if na ora owo otori (nylon bag) the man no fit tie before doing the do? I would even add "is it by force to knack?

I didn't know our Father in heaven was looking at me and laughing.

When my daughter clocked one, weaned her, took her to creche and went in search of a job. I worked on my body, changed my wardrobe and decided it's time to get my life back and focus on my career. My husband and l agreed on no more babies till the next five years.

I even picked up a form for my Masters degree programme.
Everything n lo loni melomelo (things were going well) until the day I went to pay acceptance fee.

It's an hour's drive from home and I didn't feel good to and fro.
It got to a point that I had to stop the driver so l could spit and get fresh air.

I shifted it on anxi£ty level and the passengers' sitting arrangement till three months later when my navel started protuding

This is a sensitive comparison, and honestly, it’s not as one-sided as it’s being presented. Every religion has different teachings, boundaries, and interpretations about participating in or endorsing other faiths’ celebrations.

Yes, some Chr openly celebrate or tolerate Sallah, and yes, some Musl choose to distance themselves from Christmas or Easter, but that doesn’t automatically mean one side is more loving, it often reflects doctrinal differences, not hΔtяed.

Also, experiences vary. In many places, Musl and Chr coexist peacefully, exchange greetings, and even share meals during festivals.

The real question is:
Is love measured by participation in another religion’s celebration, or by how we treat each other daily regardless of beliefs?

If you are attacked and kidnapped by bandits along the road as travellers, please:

1. Don't argue with someone with an AK-47 in his hand, comply and follow them.

2. Don't follow them with your phone, is either throw it away or leave it inside the bus or car because the phone will determine the high or low ransom.

3. If the bandits do not get your mobile phone when you reach the forest, you have two options to perform:

a. The bandits will ask you to call any of your family members you know their phone no, and if you know that you have money to pay for the ransom, or if someone can pay for your ransom, please give them the phone no to call and start negotiating till they release you

b. If you know that you don't have money or anyone to pay for your ransom, please don't give them any phone no, stand your ground that you can't remember any phone no. You will go through hell but stand your ground, the bandits will later release you but you will go through hell.

4. Remember that if they collect your phone after your release, the phone will not be given back to you, so it's better for you to throw it away or leave it inside the car.

5. If you refuse to give them your family member's phone no to call for ransom, sometimes, they would add your own ransom to those victims who call their family to pay for your ransom because you have no family to pay on your behalf.

Important precautions:

1. Avoid posting or storing too many displays of wealth on your phone.

2. Lock sensitive apps with passwords.

3. Remove unnecessary bank alerts or sensitive screenshots.

4. Be careful about what you post on social media.

5. Avoid saving sensitive financial information openly in your phone.

"PTA meetings has turned into a us£l£ss thing now. 2002 children have given birth and started acting as parents.

I went to my child’s PTA meeting, and almost all the parents had tattoos and piercings. They are not just coordinated at all. So these ones too are now parents?

Another one even did diamond teeth. Any small thing, he’ll start forcing smile to show his teeth. He doesn’t have anything to say oo, he just wants to show off his expensive teeth.
