PHOTO NEWS: Aiyedatiwa Flags Off 2.38km Akure Flyover

Ondo State Governor, Lucky Aiyedatiwa, has flagged off the construction of a 2.38km, 94-span flyover along the Oyemekun–Oba Adesida Road corridor in Akure.

- The project will run from Adegbola Junction to St. Mathias/NNPC Filling Station, Alagbaka.
- It is aimed at reducing traffic congestion, improving mobility and boosting economic activities.
- Commissioner for Infrastructure, Engr. Abiola Olawoye, said the corridor currently operates 50% above its design capacity.
- The Deji of Akure and other stakeholders commended the governor for the project.
- The contractor, Bulletin Construction Company, pledged to deliver the project on schedule and according to specifications...

Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa inspected the ongoing dualisation of the Akure-Idanre Road. He was encouraged by the progress of the work done and he assured the people that he will intensify efforts to speed up the project and deliver on time.

"We will also construct some adjoining roads to improve connectivity and make movement easier for residents and road users."
