ALWAYS HAVE A JOSE

I have a short story.
Sometimes in 2020, I decided to move to a new establishment. My plan was to go from where I stayed (which was very close) but unfortunately, I lost my father and I had to relocate to my parent's house.
It wasn't quite easy due to Lagos traffic plus, I am not very good with Lagos road.
Now, the issue was I was only, on average, forty percent (40%) early to work, which means I was late sixty percent (60%) of the time.
And out of the sixty percent (60%), I was grossly late on twenty percent (20%) of the time.
Why my Data analysis? 😃😃
So that you can understand my problem. Another issue was, I do not leave home late most of the time.
At some point, I decided driving myself to work would ameliorate the situation. It didn't! I decided to join BRT buses, brethren, it still didn't work.
I always tried to make my Team Lead understand that I leave home early, perhaps, earlier than 80 percent of our colleagues.
But, who would believe that?
Wetin concern loan company with "I lost my job.."😃😃. Even our receptionists would hail me whenever I came a bit earlier.
But everything changed when I met Jose.
Jose is a colleague who also stays a bit far from work, but gets to work early.
I decided to ask him the route he follows. 'cos at that point, it was no longer what but How? We all know the WHATs but rarely understand the HOWs.
You know WHAT to do to make money or to succeed in your Career but most times, the HOW seems far-fetched and affects the result you experience.
Back to my story.
Jose told me the route he follows to work and viola! Everything changed!
I followed Jose's instruction and I have been getting to work early, infact very early, and the truth is: I don't have to leave home as early as I did aforetime.
That's the power of a Jose!
A Jose is someone who knows the road well and is always willing and available to show you the road!
A Jose knows what you need to do, how you need to do it to get the result you desire.
In local parlance, "follow who know road".
