The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said:
“Whoever acquires wealth through sin, then uses it to maintain ties of kinship, gives it in charity, or spends it in the cause of Allah, all of that will be gathered together for him, and he will be thrown with it into Hellfire.”
Grade: Hasan (good)
Source: Sahih al-Targhib, Hadith No. 1721.
Meaning: Wealth obtained through something sinful does not become lawful simply because it is later spent on charity, relatives, or other good causes.
