What Is the Love of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ?

“Loving the Prophet” means honoring him, following/obeying him, valuing his guidance more than your own desires, and feeling a deep emotional attachment to him because he is the one who brought you the message of Allah.

The Prophet ﷺ said: “None of you truly believes until I am more beloved to him than his father, his child, and all mankind.”
(Bukhari & Muslim)

This love is not just emotion, it is faith (īmān) itself.

Why Should We Love the Prophet ﷺ?

1. He is the reason we know Allah and Islam

Without him, there would be no Qur’an delivered to us, no guidance, no light.

2. Allah Himself commands us

Allah says: “Say: If you love Allah, then follow me; Allah will love you…”
(Qur’an 3:31)

Following the Prophet ﷺ is the path to Allah’s love.

3. He loved us before we even existed

The Prophet ﷺ said: “I wish to meet my brothers.”
The companions asked, “Aren’t we your brothers?”
He replied:
“You are my companions. My brothers are those who will believe in me without having seen me.”

He was speaking about you.

4. He sacrificed everything for us

He was insulted, stoned, starved, beaten, boycotted and yet he prayed: “O Allah, guide my people, for they do not know.”

His heart was pure mercy.

5. He will intercede for us on the Day of Judgment

The greatest shafā‘ah belongs to him.

Signs That You Truly Love the Prophet ﷺ

Following his sunnah even in small things.

Sending salawāt (Salāt upon the Prophet) frequently.

Preferring his teachings over your own desires.

Loving what he loved: kindness, modesty, mercy.

Feeling pain when he is insulted and happiness when his sunnah is revived.

Studying his life (Sīrah) with interest and admiration.

"Love is shown by action."

May Almighty Allah increase us all in the love of Rasūlillah 🤲

بسم الله الرحمان الرحيم

"Ya Allah, I did not love You by myself alone, Yet I loved You alone."

I love You in a way that no one else shares. You alone are the One I love for Your own sake, not for any worldly gain or favor.

This phrase beautifully expresses the depth of sincere divine love (maḥabbah) and spiritual awareness, just as it captures two beautiful truths about divine love:

1. Love is a gift, not an achievement.
You don’t reach Allah through your own power; He draws you near and places love in your heart.

“He loves them, and they love Him.” (Qur’an 5:54)

2. True love for Allah is exclusive.
Though others share the path of loving Him, the love each heart carries is deeply personal, it belongs only to the lover and the Beloved.
"فاللهم ارزقنا حبّك، وحبّ من يحبّك، وحبّ عملٍ يقربنا إلى حبّك."🤲🏽

بسم الله الرحمان الرحيم
وصلى الله على النبي الكريم

6 LESSONS AND REFLECTIONS ON VERSE 64 AND 65 OF SŪRATU HŪD:

1. The Signs of Allah deserve respect and gratitude: The she-camel was not just an animal, but a divine sign sent to prove the truth of Prophet Sālih’s message. Ignoring or disrespecting signs of Allah leads to ruin.

2. Do not transgress limits set by Allah: The people were permitted to live freely but were warned not to harm the she-camel. A single act of disobedience can bring destruction if it violates a divine command.

3. Prophets show mercy even when warning: Prophet Sālih’s tone (“O my people”) was compassionate and caring, even while he warned them. True da'wah combines mercy and truth.

4. Arrogance blinds people to the truth: Despite witnessing a miracle, the Thamūd rejected it because of pride and rebellion, showing how arrogance destroys faith.

5. Punishment is preceded by a final chance: Allah (SWT) gave them three more days before their punishment, showing His justice and patience.

6. Detecting days that are favourable: Fridays are good for marriage😊, Sundays are good to commence buildings 🏫 (houses.....), while Saturday is a bad day 😔.

May Almighty Allah continue to preserve our Sheikh 🤲🏽

MENSTRUATION IN THE DAY ON

A woman who is menstruating may do all acts of worship apart from praying, fasting, circumnavigating the Ka’bah and doing i’tikaf in the mosque.

Since the woman who is menstruating is not allowed to pray, she can spend the day doing other acts of worship apart from prayer, such as:

1- Reading or reciting . (from memory without touching Qur'an)

2- – such as saying Subhan-Allah, La ilaaha illa-Allah, al-Hamdu Lillaah, etc. She can repeat the words “Subhan-Allah wa’l-hamdu Lillaah, wa laa ilaaha ill-Allah, wa Allahu akbar
(Glory be to Allah, praise be to Allah, there is no god but Allah and Allah is Most Great)” and “SubhanAllah wa bi hamdihi, subhanAllah il-‘Adheem (Glory and praise be to Allah, glory be to Allah the Almighty)” etc.

3- (praying for forgiveness), by repeating the phrase “AstaghfirAllah (I ask Allah for ).”

4- ( ) – she can pray to Allah and ask Him for what is good in this world and in the Hereafter, for du’aa’ is one of the best acts of worship. The Prophet (peace and blessings of
Allaah be upon him) said, “Du’aa’ is ‘ibaadah (worship).” (Narrated by al-Tirmidhi, 2895; classed as saheeh by al-Albaani in Saheeh al-Tirmidhi, 2370).

5. (Sadaqah)

The woman who is menstruating can do these acts of worship on Arafah.
