FREE BUSINESS TIPS!!
I got a call yesterday from one of my biggest clients and he asked me a question, more like consulting..
Mr Sam, What’s the secret to your boom in business? I see your business is thriving.
On an average, I reply to over 200 messages per day, (before you shout, my ad budget isn’t basic), and 80% of these messages are people making enquiries.
Yea. You heard correctly.
Enquiries. Not paying clients.
But when responding to this enquiries, I sound as nice as I can be. Even though I might not be the one doing most of the replies, but I’ve taught all of my admins to do same.
Most times they might not buy/subscribe instantly, I still offer my professional advice to them or show them other products/services I sell.
This builds a good connection and they tend to feel comfortable.
Note: The reason why they made the enquiry in the first place is because they like what you are offering/selling.
These potential clients over time, turn to paying clients or better still if they are not ready to use your services or buy your products at the moment, they would refer you to friends who’d need your products/services.
So the next time you get an enquiry, don’t blow him or her off when they don’t buy immediately, rather there are a couple of things you can do.
1. Speak kind and courteous words.
2. Build friendship/trust
3. Show them other products/services you sell.
4. Offer professional advices if needed at no cost.
Every enquiry is important.
Treat it importantly.
If the sale wasn’t closed today, it would be closed tomorrow.
