Everyone is saying Affiliate Marketing is the new oil money, Affiliate Marketing can change your life and all that B's .
But the real question here is this
Can Affiliate Marketing really change your life, Does it have the Superpowers everyone is claiming it has.
But the truth is that you can actually go from 0-100 with any business
It all depends on how much you are ready to sacrifice to get what you want.
The only difference is that some businesses are easier than the others.
And some businesses can achieve a certain milestone faster than the other.
And when it comes to achieving a certain milestone Affiliate Marketing can help you do that easily.
So let's move on ๐
In a layman's term what is Affiliate Marketing and why should you consider learning it.
First, this business we are talking about is a 12billion dollar industry, and Nigerians are still far far behind when it comes to Affiliate marketing like 5 years behind from were others are...
Affiliate Marketing is something we do in our everyday life.
If you have ever referred a friend to a vendor, what you did was affiliate marketing but their was no agreement in place to make sure you get a chunk of the vendors profit.
Example 2:
When you go to a plaza to buy any electronics and you see some people standing in the front gate calling you to buy from them , most of those people don't A single product neither do they have a shop.
But they are making nothing less than 5k or 10k.
How are they doing it.
In this Scenario we have three people.
The First person is the Vendor or Company
The second person is the Affiliate
The third person is the customer.
The Vendor or Company is the person that owns the product that is Oga Emeka Enterprises
The Affiliate is (Toby sharp guy) that is about to make money from a product that he doesn't own.
And
Their is you who want to buy a phone as Ebig wey you be.
So when you got to plaza the first
You saw at the gate is Toby the sharp guy
Toby : my guy wetin you wan buy.
You : I'm looking for were to buy phone.
Toby : you are at the right place, let's go to my shop upstairs.
You and toby proceeds to Oga Emeka enterprises shop.
At Oga Emeka's shop๐ต๐ฝโโ๏ธ
Toby : This is my shop, sit down. Then he proceeds to show you all the phones they have and the price.
You : After pricing and all you finally bought the phone and paid the money in full.
Toby : ๐๐๐ joy is in my heart ( his thought) my n***a will be smiling like goat wey them dey carry go thanksgiving.
He knows that the day is set.
Note he can also decide to bring you to Oga Emeka's shop and leave you to do business with Oga Emeka.
What matters is that you buy from Oga Emeka.
So after you have paid the money in full.
Let's say you bought a phone of 80k.
Oga Emeka will now give my guy 5k or 3k depending on their Agreement ๐ค
Oga Emeka is happy๐ต๐ฝโโ๏ธ๐
Toby is Happy ๐ง๐ค
And most importantly
You are happy that you were able to get the phone without working round the whole Plaza ๐๐๐ค you dey even add thank you.
But their is a fault in this system since the money will be paid directly to Oga Emeka, Oga Emeka can decide not to pay Toby and Toby will be ๐ญ๐ญ or decide to pay him after two weeks.
And this were some of the problem with the traditional method of Affiliate Marketing. Their was no system in place to track and keep records of sale.
From my story
Affiliate Marketing is a process whereby an affiliate recommends a useful product ( digital, physical or services) to someone that needs it and can afford it and gets a commission from the vendor when the person or prospect finally buys.
The good thing is that you don't need to look for a vendor that you can market their products like Toby sharp guy.
While you are connecting a buyer to a seller. Their are platforms that are connecting Affiliates to vendors e.g Click bank, Jvzoo, Warrior plus, Expertnaire ( the one I'm working with), Amazon, Jumia (physical product) , CJ and Gumroad e.t.c.
This is just how Affiliate Marketing works
