JIGAWA STATE COLLEGE OF EDUCATION GUMEL HONOURS CHAIRMEN OF BIRNIN KUDU, GAGARAWA, AND RONI LOCAL GOVERNMENTS

The Jigawa State College of Education, Gumel, has honoured the Chairmen of Birnin Kudu, Gagarawa, and Roni Local Government Areas with Awards of Excellence in recognition of their sponsorship of 405 students at the institution.

Speaking at the ceremony, the Provost of the College, Dr. Muhammad Nura Ringim, commended the three chairmen for their commitment to educational development and support for students, especially those from less privileged backgrounds. He also appreciated the Jigawa State Government under the leadership of Governor Umar Namadi for its continued support to the institution.

The Chairman of the College Governing Council, Dr. Da'u Buba, disclosed that the state government is working towards upgrading the College to a degree-awarding institution, describing the move as a major step toward improving the standard of education in Jigawa State.

The award recipients were Hon. Bldr. Dr. Muhammad Uba of Birnin Kudu, Barr. Abubakar Idris of Gagarawa, and Dr. Abba Ya'u of Roni Local Governments. Speaking on behalf of the awardees, Dr. Abba Ya'u reaffirmed their commitment to sustaining support for education and collaborating with the state government to advance the sector.

The event was attended by government officials, education stakeholders, students, and supporters from the three local government areas.

An gudanar da taron masu riƙe da mukamai da shugabannin jam’iyyar APC na Ƙaramar Hukumar Birnin Kudu cikin nasara, taron ya mayar da hankali kan haɗin kai da ƙarfafa jam’iyyar APC.

An jaddada muhimmancin aiki tare, biyayya ga doka da tsari, tare da ƙarfafa goyon baya ga manufofin jam’iyyar APC mai albarka. Mahalarta taron sun bayyana kudurinsu na cigaba da haɗa kai domin tabbatar da nasarar APC a dukkan matakai.

A ƙarshe, anyi addu’ar samun zaman lafiya da cigaba mai ɗorewa a ƙaramar hukumar Birnin kudu da Jahar Jigawa baki daya.

Governor Umar A. Namadi fca is not just a governor; he is a visionary leader, a servant of the people, a man of integrity, humility, compassion and uncommon dedication to the progress of Jigawa State. His leadership style reflects sincerity of purpose, discipline, accountability and genuine love for humanity.
