When people hear "brand storytelling," they often overthink it. But truth is your brand story isn’t a fairytale. It’s just you saying:
• Here’s why I started.
• Here’s the problem I saw.
• Here’s how I’m helping people fix it.”
Let me break it down the way I usually do for startup founders I work with:
1. Start with your WHY: What pushed you to start that business or offer that service?
Forget the fancy words. Be real. Be human.
2. Highlight the Problem: What’s that one pain your ideal customer is facing that you can’t ignore?
That frustration? Make it clear.
3. Make the Customer the Hero:
You’re not the main character, your customer is.
You’re just the guide showing them a better way.
4. Show the Transformation: What does life look like after someone works with you or uses your product?
That before-and-after moment is gold.
The brands that win today aren’t the loudest.
They’re the ones that tell stories people can see themselves in.
Next, I’ll show you how to use your story across content, marketing, and everyday communication, without sounding like a motivational speaker 😅
