A rare incident occurred during Shaykh Ibrāhīm’s trip to Guinea Conakry. A man who was a Qodiry disciple was initiated to our great path by the Shaykh.

What’s the rare thing here? ;
According to what Shaykh related in his poem during the trip, He saw Shaykh Ahmad Tijjāny رضي الله عنه in an awake state and told him to bring the man and initiate him to our path. While he was initiating him, Sayyidi Abdulqodir Jaylany was sitting behind them with Adab. This is Karomah and the greatness of our path.

Here is lines:

شيخ الطريقة وكان قادري
أخذ عني اليوم في كناكري
The Shaykh of the path, and he was a Qodiry, Today in Conakry, he received the Tijjāny order from me.

يدعى بدنغ صار وهو علم
قدمته حينا لسر أعلم
He is called Donga Sara, and it’s a non Arab name . I gave him Taqdeem for the secrets known to me.

أيده الله بنصره فهُو
شيخ تقي صالح ويفقه
May Allāh support him with His victory, for he is a righteous Shaykh, and a noble jurist.

رأيت شيخنا التجاني صارا
يقول آتوني بدُنْغَ صارا
I saw our Shaykh “Ahmad Tijjāny” appearing and saying; Bring Donga Sara.

والجيلي من وراءنا بأدب
فقدتُ دُنْغَ نحو عالى المنصب
And Sayyidi Abdulqadir Jaylany sat behind us with respect. I found Donga raised toward a lofty rank.

أخبرني شيخ تقي عابد
رؤيا رآها وهو قرم ماجد
A pious and devoted Shaykh informed me of a vision he saw— and he is a noble elder.

رأى التجاني يقول من يريد
سري فعن هذا الإمام لا يحيد
He saw our Master “Shaykh Ahmad Tijjāny” saying;
Whoever desires my spiritual secret should not turn away from this Imām “Shaykh Ibrāhīm Inyāss”.
