Last year, we collaborated with Avo Creative • to craft the visual identity for The Marriage Architect, a transformative coaching brand led by Adaeze Chiwoko.

While many in the relationship space offer "band-aids," this project was about providing a "blueprint" for marriages in crisis, specifically focusing on infidelity and affair recovery.

Our goal was to create a brand that mirrors this intentionality, part structural blueprint, part healing balm. Building a legacy starts with the right architecture.

Princefields Limited is a renowned indigenous geological and environmental services company incorporated in 1991.

Its work spans mining, soil testing, geological analysis, water borehole drilling, and critical environmental services, areas where accuracy, responsibility, and integrity are paramount.

Our focus was on building a cohesive system capable of communicating credibility, creativity, and connection (C3s) simultaneously, without losing the foundation of Princefields’ roots.

Every design strategy ties back to brand behavior, how the brand shows up, how it communicates with varied high-stake audiences, and how it scales across platforms and touchpoints while maintaining a strong (as earth) yet fluid (as water) unmistakable, consistent voice.

Operating in a space where trust is not optional is delicate. Geological surveys, water sourcing, land testing, and environmental services are decisions that directly affect lives, infrastructure, and long-term value.

The challenge for Princefield was to codify over three decades of technical expertise into a credible, timeless visual system, one that could stand confidently across regulatory, corporate, and public-facing environments.

Our role was to translate this specificity, it's precision, reliability, and responsibility into a visual language that feels professional without being cold, and authoritative without being rigid. Design that reduces ambiguity, builds confidence, and protects brands from unsafe visual decisions, especially in high-stakes industries.

This is the kind of work we believe in at Gedoua, impacting lives positively.

Because this system was built on clear rules rather than fixed expressions, it remains consistent without becoming rigid. The mark scales, the typography responds, the color system flexes, allowing the brand to show up with confidence whether it’s speaking to talent, partnering with brands, or activating within culture.

As City Plug grows into new spaces, collaborations, and audiences (which we have no control of), the identity is designed to grow with it, supporting expansion without dilution and evolution without loss of clarity.

This is what we focus on at Gedoua: building visual identity systems that are not just seen, but sustained, either by us or their in-house team.

This is done by amplifying your authenticity, 'being.'

Every element of City Plug’s visual identity was intentionally designed to perform a subliminal function.

From the outset, the focus was on building a cohesive system capable of communicating credibility, creativity, and connection simultaneously.

The core symbol consolidates multiple ideas into a singular form: the plug as access and connectivity, the city as structure and opportunity, the torch as momentum, visibility, and creative ignition, alongside the embedded letterforms “C” (City) and “P” (Plug).

Together, these elements position City Plug as a connector between talent, platforms, cultures, and opportunity.

The color system reinforces this role. Warm red anchors the brand in passion, unity, and collaboration, while charcoal black introduces authority and longevity. A flexible secondary palette enables adaptability across diverse applications without compromising coherence.

Every design decision ties back to brand behavior, how City Plug shows up, communicates with varied audiences, and scales across platforms while maintaining a consistent voice.

The identity was designed to move, evolve, and remain unmistakably recognizable across all touchpoints.

Months ago, we partnered with City Plug, a media and entertainment brand building an ecosystem for creatives, skit-makers, content creators, and creative talent, to develop a visual identity system that could grow with their ambition.

The challenge wasn’t aesthetics.
It was clarity.

City Plug needed to feel:
• credible to brands and investors
• approachable to emerging talent
• rooted in the culture, yet scalable beyond it

Our role was to translate that tension into a system, one that balances authority with energy, structure with expression, and strategy with relevance.

This project began with research: audience behaviour, industry signals, visual psychology, and the role City Plug intends to play in Nigeria’s creative economy and beyond. From there, every decision (from form and symbol to colour and typography) was designed to communicate purpose, not noise.

What we delivered wasn’t just a logo but a visual framework built to connect talent, opportunity, and influence across platforms, partnerships, and time.
