This Mother's Day, we are taking a moment to reflect and to recommit.
Across Africa, mothers are still dying in childbirth. Children are still growing up without the women who brought them into the world. These are not distant statistics. They are real lives that deserve better.
At TorchLife Africa, everything we do comes back to this principle: "No mother should die giving life and no child should have to grow up without their mother".
Today we celebrate mothers everywhere, their strength, their sacrifice, and the quiet courage it takes to carry a family. We also want to acknowledge the midwives, nurses, community health workers, and volunteers who show up every single day in places where the system has not always shown up for them.
