To all Crypto Expert out there trying to Compare Pi Network to other Crypto. Pi is not a Pump and Dump cryptocurrency. Pi Network doesn't have any ICO, IDO, Airdrops etc. Pi is powered by Web3.0 Blockchain Smartcontract.

Pi has the potential to absorb both fiat currency and existing cryptocurrency.

We all know the use of pi. In most fundamental principle pi is money. It's the next evolution of medium of exchange to happen in digital space.

Back in the days of gold standard, government prints money backed by gold. When the US abandoned the gold standard, they replaced gold backed with trust to the government.
Trust is intangible value that don't physically exist. When US do that they introduced another way to define value which is now the basis of Pi network cryptocurrency.
We use the same trust system to define the system of pi network but we make it automated using Blockchain of pi network. The second definition of pi value is more on barter value we use to buy goods and services as what white paper suggest.

About pi cryptocurrency be able to absorb both fiat currency and other cryptocurrency.
Supposed pi became globally accepted as medium of exchange.
Other cryptocurrencies and fiat currencies can be bought with pi. When it did, the value of them will be transferred to pi and the cryptocurrency and fiat currency will be part of pi value and cannot be retain again unless somebody use pi to buy them back.

Ok. Supposed you buy Bitcoin in exchanges.
You use either pi or dollar.
When you buy using dollar, the value of Bitcoin became part of dollar, you get the Bitcoin, the dollar goes in exchanges then the Bitcoin you buy have the value of dollar. What you did is you transferred dollar value to Bitcoin.
Until somebody buy the dollar back using their Bitcoin, the dollar stays in exchanges having it's value transferred to the Bitcoin you bought.

Now this principle can also be applied to pi if you buy both fiat currency or cryptocurrency.
In most sense, if nobody buy back the dollar or Bitcoin converted into pi, their value stays being part of pi value. When every fiat currency and cryptocurrency is bought using pi and never converted back, they will be part of pi value permanently unless somebody converted them back. But remember, we are talking about globally use pi in this scenario.

By using this same strategy, inflation can also be solved leading to a reset of financial problems we have today.
