A new year, the turning of the calendar to a new year can mean different things to different people…

For some it’s just like any other day, any other sleep to usher in a new morning. or others, it is a special day, a phenomenal one, that ushers in an incredible opportunity to write a new chapter, to better define their path for the next 365days.

Whichever group you find yourself in, I encourage you to find time to reflect on what has been and what could be…

What could be starts with you thinking about it, write down a new goal, write down everything you need to do in order to get it, make a checklist and do something everyday towards it!

Plan and commit your plans to the maker of heavens and earth, our God and Father.

Don’t forget, whether you do this today the first day of the year or in two (2) months time, it doesn’t matter. Just do it!

And the day you do it and commit to it is the start of your ‘new’ year!

Happy New Year to you. Thank you for being a part of my life. This year, we are continuing to set down stones for a rock solid foundation best for the great heights to come!

TIME indeed is the currency of life. If you're wasting your time, you're wasting your life!

Sometimes, to move to the next level, you have to burn the bridges & focus.

However, it's even more painful that some people currently have ALL THE TIME and they are wasting it 💔

If you're currently idle due to ASUU strike, or you're a graduate but currently doing nothing, here's something I wish I knew back in the days: get a paid course that teaches you how to make money online either with Copywriting, Amazon kdp, Freelancing or my favorite Affiliate Marketing.

Give yourself 3-6 months of laser focus and consistently learn, build your mind, and practice. Nobody may see what you're doing now, but
fortune will always favour the Consistent.

Don't waste your time doing trial & error, or hoping for a job that may never come. While you're waiting for that dream job or for ASUU to call off strike, INVEST that valuable asset (TIME) you have now in developing yourself.

Read books, get courses, attend seminars.

Do productive things with that time now.

Every Sunday, I like to write about 3 random things that are on my mind.

Sometimes these things are about life...

Sometimes they're about business...

And other times they're just truly random.

So with that said...

Let's jump into the first thing that came to my mind this morning.

The most important decisions you'll make are:

1. What you do

2. Where you live

3. Who you'll spend your life with.

I really like this quote.

It's simple, yet it nails the important stuff.

Most of our quality of life comes from just a few key decisions.

If you're doing something for work that you hate, it's hard to have an enjoyable life.

If you're in a bad relationship, you could do everything else right, but your life will still be pretty miserable.

And if you have a good relationship, and a job you like, but you live somewhere that you hate, well your quality of life still won't be great.

Obviously these aren't easy decisions to make...

But like Naval says, they're probably the 3 most important ones you'll make in your life.

So it is very important that you take your time wisely and probably make consultations with people that you trust or people whose decisions on similar issues are worthy of emulation.

You don't just make decisions because they are convenient or comfortable.

They should be able to stand the test of time.

It's another beautiful sunday to make decisions about things that matter about your finances..

The week is almost rounding up. How close are you to achieving your goals for the week?

I'm eager to share something interesting with you today.

Do you have a smart phone 🤳 and access to the internet?
If you answered YES, you already have 2/3 of everything you need to make money on the internet. The only thing left is KNOWLEDGE. You can get that knowledge from courses, seminars, webinars, mentorship etc.

N.B: Knowledge is not cheap so it means if you're not willing to pay to learn something that will help your life then it means you are not ready yet.

There's a big difference between a high income job (like Shell and Chevron), a high income profession (like Medicine) and a high income skill (like Sales, Copywriting, Programming etc)...
The first two requires longer time, training and resources while the latter (high income skills) can be learnt within a short period and the rewards are equal.✅

Believe it or not, there are programmers (high income skills) who earn more than doctors or lawyers (high income profession).
My advice; learn high income skills that can fetch you more money which will inturn make your life better.

What value are you offering?🤔

Don't say I don't have anything to offer. Moses in the Bible thought he had nothing but God asked him, 'what do you have in your hands?'

Now I ask, 'what do you have?
Is it a skill, an idea or any thing?
With the right knowledge/information, such can be packaged and dished out as values in exchange for financial rewards.

The people who make it big in life are selling something. Be it a rendered service, a product, an information, an idea....
Just Sell something.

Selling is very lucrative and you'd be shocked at what fortune people are making out of selling. Gather information around that idea or info you want to sell. Package it in a book or audio format. Don't think people won't buy, they will. As long as that idea is creating values and meeting needs.

Don't be lazy. Find out a value you can offer. Use Google, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube to learn more about that value and enhance it. Connect with people who are doing something similar, get information on related areas. You'll be shocked at the wealth of info you've been able to gather within a short time.

Information is wealth, get enough info on what you want to do and break out of the current situation you are in.

There are several skills one can learn especially on the internet. Each of these skills has the ability to reward you for life. Some of such skills include:

*Copywriting
*Freelancing
*Email marketing
*Affiliate marketing
*Graphic designing
*Amazon Publishing
*Website building, to mention a few.
