Most approval systems break the moment a human clicks the wrong button. So I built one that fixes itself.
Let me tell you what nobody building automation actually talks about.
Every approval system I have ever seen is built the same way. Someone applies. Admin gets notified. Admin approves or rejects. Record gets updated. Done.
Looks clean on paper. Falls apart the moment a human is involved.
And humans are always involved.
Because what happens when the admin is moving fast and taps approve on the wrong applicant? In most systems that are built on no-code tools that mistake is permanent. You are now manually hunting through spreadsheets trying to undo what the automation already did.
That is not a system. That is a liability dressed up as one.
When I built the approval flow for this client I refused to accept that.
I built a self correcting decision system inside Telegram. The moment the admin makes a decision they get one window to catch a mistake before the record locks. If they tapped the wrong button they can correct it right there.
No spreadsheet repair. No manual undoing. No panic.
And once the decision is final the buttons disappear completely so nobody can accidentally trigger the same approval twice.
That one feature alone saved my client from hours of cleanup that most automation builders never even think about.
Because building an automation that works when everything goes right is easy. Building one that survives human error is the actual skill.
And there was still one more problem waiting for me underneath all of this.

An invisible bug that most automation builders never even know exists until data starts disappearing and they have no idea why.
