3 REASONS WHY PEOPLE DON'T BUY FROM YOU
You will keep losing your clients and money if you don't address them
Let me tell you a story:
There are two young men - Kenneth and Kennedy. They both are single and ready to get married but do not have who they were seeing yet. They are just like the average man out there, not overly handsome, and not stinkily rich. They both decided to go to a Bar in search of the women of their choices.
Kenneth on getting to the Bar saw a very beautiful lady and he immediately approached her, kneeling to the ground and proposing to her. ๐ The lady was shocked and embarrassed that she landed Kenneth a hot slap. ๐ฃ
Kennedy on the other hand met a very beautiful lady and approached her. He offered to buy her a drink, they got into a little conversation and got to know each other. At the end of the day, they exchanged numbers and the relationship continued. Kennedy took her on a date on several occasions, they grew fond of each other and eventually Kennedy confessed love to her. They met each other's parents and finally got married. They lived happily ever afterโบ๏ธ
Do you like my story? I think you do but you are wondering how it applies to why people don't buy from you...

But what can you say about Kenneth who got a slap and Kennedy who got a wife?...
You're correct... everything was wrong with Kenneth's approach. I mean, why will a man propose to a lady he has never met or talked with at first sight?
Unfortunately, many Businesses owners are like Kenneth and that is why the few like Kennedy get all their Customers.
This little information applies to anyone SELLING - product, service or skill.
So, what are the 3 reasons why people don't buy your products/service/skill?
1. They don't KNOW you
2.They don't TRUST you
3. They don't LIKE you
As simple as these are, you have lost your clients to your competitors because of them.
I know you are asking about how strangers will get to know, like and trust you especially people who sell online.
May I remind you Kenneth and Kennedy's story - there was a process before Kennedy eventually married the love of his life. The same way with your customers, there should be a process you take them through to make them know, like and trust you.
As a matter of fact, people don't care if you are an Expert or not, or if your products or service will benefit them. They care only about themselves. So, if you want them to Know, like and trust you, you must start caring for them.
Buyers don't like Sellers that are only after their money. You need to show them that you care about them.
Let's take for instance, two companies are into electronics and the two decided to run an adverts. Company A in their ads just said you should buy their electronics because they are good but Company B said, they have a free report for you on how to discern a good electronics from a bad one.
Which will you go for?
Ordinarily, I will go for B because I need that information. After giving me the free report which I learnt from, Company B kept sending in more valuable content. Do you think I won't buy from them eventually? I will because I now know, like and trust the Company.
What does this mean? Find a way you can prove to your customers or clients that you are not only after their money. Not everyone will buy from you immediately. So, what do you do to them, you discard them? No! You make them know, like and trust you. This also applies to those who have patronized you, solidify your relationship.
If you sell beauty products, you can put up something to teach people on how they can discern fake body cream or something.
Bear these 3 factors in mind and see your business grow by the day. Be like Kennedy!
