So for the last 6 years, I have maintained the Meta Certified Buying Professional certification.
It used to be a paid exam, but for the last few years, Meta has switched to a free refresh of 20 questions that you had to score 80% on. You can take it as many times as long as your certification has not expired, after which you have to go and take the paid exam.
It's interesting the way that marketing has evolved. The iOS 14 update which basically gave FB an uppercut plus suplex slam down saw FB innovating other ways to measure campaigns due to the new restrictions that Apple brought on.
The certification refresh, over the years, focused on the new technologies that FB had to build in order to keep advertisers happy and seeing results. Things like Conversion API and its implementation, which has seen more and more integrations over the years.
This year's refresh seemed to have cooled down on those new technologies, and rather went back to the basics of advertising with the new addition of automation tools that has come about from Machine Learning Models and Artificial Intelligence.
So, it was heavy on Advantage + this, Advantage + that, Advantage + everything, Catalogs and how you can connect your website straight to Meta Technologies and then a little reminder of the Conversion API and how to implement it.
All fun stuff, but with the way Akowe is yanking my chain these days, I don't even have time to run campaigns. If you would like to pick my brain sha, I am available for urgent 2k.
