Sometimes, you fall so that others could run

Today, we have people arguing about iPhone vs Android but did you know the story behind this innovation?

Have you heard of "pocket crystal" and how the great innovation died? You probably didn't know about it because, unlike iPhone and Android, it died. But without the invention of pocket Crystal who knows if we probably might be using a touchscreen smartphone today?

Pocket crystal was birthed and failed so that iPhone could come alive a decade after.

That's not all...

Today, most of the workers who worked on pocket crystal went ahead to build greater products like iPad, Ebay, iPhone, Android, and Apple Watch, Others became executives at Google, and CTO of the United state government.

I wonder what must be going on in their mind (I mean the employees for the pocket crystal) when they were failing.

Questions like

1. Why didn't I resign earlier? Instead of wasting 10 years of my life.
2. Why can't we get it right?

Little did they know that they were failing forward.

Imagine what the failure must have taught them.

Imagine the experience and lessons learned.

A brilliant offer is that offer that makes the intending customer thinks that he/she is reaping you off.

Something we call awoof.

You don't have to make a loss to create this impression.

You just need the psychology.

There are several times that i bought something and in my mind, i thought my negotiation for that thing i bought was great because, in my mind, i have reaped that seller off.

I just feel good anyhow.

I was able to price down from #10,000 to #3,600.

😆

Only for me to find out later that the real price for that product is #3,000.

🤣🤣
The psychology in this scenario is that the seller raises the price so that when i price it, i don't go ridiculously low.

But this doesn't work all the time. What if i know the price before coming to you. If you call 10k, i will walk away.
