Why you won't make sales as an affiliate marketer.

A lot of people start affiliate marketing with very high expectations and end up giving up because the money making part of their affiliate business is just not lifting off.

A REGRETTABLE MISTAKE I MADE WHEN I STARTED IN THE ONLINE SPACE AND HOW YOU SHOULD AVOID IT.

I just clocked 19 years old when I started online marketing,

I was naive,

A novice with no mentor,

I had no idea of where to start or where I was heading to,

I was angry, broke and frustrated.

I can't still figure out what gave me a headache then, probably the three.

I wanted to be financially free but I wasn't financially buoyant( I had nothing, not even a thousand note)

Fortunately for me I saw an advert about how a guy who made a lot of money just by selling information,

Then I thought of what I could sell, I remember I had the knowledge of upwork creation( If you're a freelancer, you should know how hard it is to create an account on upwork as a Nigerian)

Then, boom I package my knowledge and added some spice to it(bonus), time for advert,

I had no audience and no money,

so I borrowed N1,000 from my sister to run adverts.

PS: WhatsApp advert was cheap then, not anymore😂.

Fortunately for me the advert converted and my first mistake started from this!

1) I had no lead magnet: I ran the advert directly to my WhatsApp group,

I didn't save their contact and they didn't save mine either.

Immediately they left my group, that was the end.

And the rate at which people left my group was massive😂😂.
