You keep applying.
No response.
It’s not your qualifications.
It’s your visibility.
People don’t hire the most qualified.
They hire the most visible + connected.
That’s why networking beats qualifications.
Before you send another application… fix your strategy.
If your CV isn’t getting results,
send me a message for a CV audit.

Recruiters spend 6 seconds on your CV.
If your value isn’t clear immediately, they move on.
It’s not always your qualifications…
it’s how your CV communicates them.
If you want me to review yours,
request a CV audit via the link in bio.

After talking about why most CVs get ignored, many people asked for help reviewing theirs.
Over the past few weeks we’ve been working with several job seekers and these are some of the outcomes.
Sometimes the issue isn’t qualification… it’s how your value is communicated.
If you’d like a CV audit or review, send me a message.

Most CVs are not rejected because the person is unqualified.
They are rejected because the value is unclear.
Recruiters don’t have time to guess what you can do.
If your CV doesn’t quickly answer
“Why should we hire you?”
…it often gets ignored.

05/03/2026

You can have a degree…
A certificate…
Even a first class…
…and still not get hired.
Why?
Because qualification ≠ value in the job market.
Companies don’t pay for what you studied.
They pay for what you can do.
Do you agree?

Most people are qualified.
Few are competitive.
I’m Jeremiah Joshua Ishaku — founder of Prydea.
Prydea was built to bridge the gap between what we’re taught… and what the real world actually demands.
We simplify knowledge.
We challenge average thinking.
We push practical growth.
This is not noise.
This is direction.
If you care about competence over clout, you’re in the right place.

Silent Seasons Build Strong Reputations

I’ve been quiet recently.

No frequent posts.
No daily breakdowns.
No noise.

But I wasn’t idle.

I’ve been deep in client work: – fixing positioning
– restructuring CVs
– refining application strategy
– improving visibility systems
– focusing on actual outcomes

Here’s something I’ve learned:

Loud seasons build attention.
Silent seasons build capability.

And capability compounds.

When you disappear to improve:

your standards rise

your delivery sharpens

your understanding deepens

your results speak louder

Reputation isn’t built from how often you post.
It’s built from how consistently you deliver.

Anyone can stay visible.
Not everyone can stay effective.

The goal isn’t to be constantly seen.
The goal is to be undeniably valuable.

Now it’s time to bring the lessons back into the open.

More clarity.
More systems.
More results.

Why Proximity Creates Opportunity

In the last two days, I’ve been swamped with work.

Not because I suddenly became smarter.
Not because I worked harder than before.
Not because I applied to more things.

But because I was close to the right problems, people, and systems.

That’s what proximity does.

---

Here’s the truth people don’t like:

Opportunity doesn’t float around looking for the hardest worker.
It moves through networks, access, and visibility.

When you’re close:

People think of you first

Information reaches you early

Trust builds faster

Referrals happen naturally

Work flows toward you

When you’re far:

You apply more

You explain more

You wait longer

You get ignored

Same effort.
Different outcome.

---

Simple example:

Two people have the same skill.

One is:

visible

in the conversation

known for a specific thing

The other is:

quiet

distant

only shows up to apply

Who gets the opportunity?

Not the better person —
the closer one.

---

This is why Prydea teaches:

positioning before effort

visibility before volume

systems before struggle

access before grinding

Because proximity changes everything.

---

The lesson:

Don’t just ask: “How do I work harder?”

Ask: “What am I close to?”

That question changes outcomes.

One CV vs Role-Specific CVs

(Why most job applications fail quietly)

Most people use one CV for every job.

It feels efficient.
It feels productive.
It feels like hard work.

It’s also why many never get callbacks.

Here’s the difference:

---

One CV approach

Generic job titles

Broad responsibilities

Mixed skills

Weak keyword alignment

Outcome: ❌ Low ATS score
❌ Poor relevance
❌ Looks unfocused
❌ Easily filtered out

You’re everywhere — so you belong nowhere.

---

Role-specific CV approach

Job title aligned to the role

Keywords pulled directly from the job description

Skills ordered by relevance

Experience framed for that role

Outcome: ✅ Higher ATS ranking
✅ Clear role fit
✅ Safer hire signal
✅ More callbacks

You look intentional.
You look prepared.
You look employable.

---

The uncomfortable truth:

Recruiters don’t reward effort.
They reward fit.

One strong, targeted CV beats: 10 generic applications.

---

This is why Prydea teaches:

Role analysis

CV positioning

Language alignment

Systems-based job search

Not mass applying.
Not praying harder.
Not motivation.

---

Apply less.
Apply smarter.
Position better.

More coming.

How LinkedIn Visibility Actually Works (And Why Most People Are Invisible)

Most people think LinkedIn works like this: 👉 Apply for jobs
👉 Wait
👉 Hope someone notices

That’s not how it works.

LinkedIn is not a job board first.
It’s a distribution system.

Here’s how visibility really works:

1. Recruiters don’t start with applications

They start with search.

They type:

“Business analyst + SQL”

“Product manager + fintech”

“Data analyst + Power BI”

If your profile doesn’t signal relevance clearly, you don’t exist.

---

2. Your profile is scanned, not read

Recruiters spend seconds, not minutes.

They look for:

Clear headline (what you do + who you help)

Recent activity

Keywords that match the role

Proof (projects, outcomes, experience)

No clarity = no callback.

---

3. Activity creates visibility

LinkedIn rewards people who:

Post

Comment thoughtfully

Engage consistently

Even 2–3 posts a week can increase profile views massively.

Silence = invisibility.

---

4. Applications work better after visibility

When a recruiter has:

Seen your post

Seen your comment

Clicked your profile

Your application no longer feels “random”.

You move from: ❌ “Just another CV”
to
✅ “I’ve seen this person before”

---

5. Visibility is not about noise

It’s about positioning.

You don’t need to go viral. You need to be clear.

Clear beats clever. Relevant beats loud. Consistent beats perfect.

---

The truth:

Talent without visibility struggles.
Visibility without clarity wastes time.
But clarity + visibility = opportunity.

This is what we focus on at Prydea.

Not just applying. But being findable, recognizable, and relevant.

More soon.
