Ibn Al-Qayyim رحمه الله said,

"Constancy in remembrance of Allah brings about security from forgetfulness of Him. This forgetfulness is the cause of the servant’s misery both in this worldly life and on the appointed Day. This is because the forgetfulness of Allah leads to forgetfulness of his own soul and welfare. As Allah has said (in Surat AlHashr): “And be not like those who forget Allah and He causes them to forget their own souls; truly those are the corrupted.” [Chapter 59:Verse 19]

Narrated from Abu Hurayrah (radiAllahu anhu) that the Messenger of Allaah (sallallahu 'alayhi wasallam) said:

“Wealth does not decrease because of charity, and Allaah increases His slave in honor when he forgives others. And no one humbles himself before Allaah but Allaah will raise him (in status).”

As-salamu Alaykum Wa rahmatullaahi Wa barakatuhu. Beware the company you keep. Not all are supporters. Not all will cheer you on or want to see you succeed. In fact, some are happy when you fall and fail. Such is life. These are people who are jealous of your blessings. They want what the Almighty Allah has given you. Pray for them! We suffer from information overload. Many people obsess over how much news & updates they need to know to stay on top of things. In fact, learn to be mindful of how much news you consume. Learn to exercise restraint. You DON’T need to know everything! Almighty Allah. We hand over everything to You, knowing that You’re the Best of Planners. Ease our worries of yesterday so that it doesn’t rob us of our peace today. Help us to focus on things that truly matter and to channel our energies for the best outcome.
