For .ng (NDK), we didn’t just want a logo; we wanted a host.

Meet the face of the brand. We designed the NDK mascot to embody the energy of that one friend who always knows the best spots in the city. He’s got the swagger, the warmth of a great host, and he never takes himself too seriously.

He lives on the packaging, he greets you at the door, and he sets the tone before you even take the first bite.

Because in the street food game, vibes are just as important as the recipe.

You saw the introduction to .ng we did. But a real visual identity isn't just a logo on a wall it's an ecosystem.

Today, we’re peeling back another layer of the system.

We obsessed over every touchpoint to ensure the "Retro-Industrial" soul felt authentic. From the tactile experience of the custom packaging to the utilitarian patterns that define the physical space nothing was left to chance. It’s gritty, it’s functional, and it’s undeniably Nigerian.

And honestly? It’s this obsession with the details that the world takes notice of.

We are hyped to confirm that this project hasn’t just secured one, but two major global stamps of approval.

You know those projects where the group chat is just pure flames from Day 1? This was that.

We are finally sharing the visual identity for .ng (NDK).

The brief was tricky: Take a global street food icon and give it a Nigerian soul without making it look "local." So we went Retro-Industrial on it. We stripped back the typical fast-food idea and decided to design a mascot that has the swagger of a true Nigerian host.

Honestly? The best part of this project wasn't the design phase (though it’s gorgeous). It was the founders and . Easily the coolest clients we worked with last year 2025. No stiff corporate energy, just pure vibes. They understood our vibe, we understood theirs, and we cooked up something iconic together.

We’re wrapping up our showcase by emptying the "everything else" folder.

When our client, , briefed us on the concept we knew those words couldn't just live in a strategy deck. They had to survive contact with reality.

A brand identity isn’t actually finished until it works just as hard on the unsexy stuff or operational forms as it does on a curated feed. If the beautiful logo looks out of place on real-world applications, the whole system fails the client's vision.

Our team obsessed over these final pieces because we know that "functional" doesn't have to mean "boring." We wanted to ensure that every touchpoint, no matter how small, maintained the integrity of the system we built together.

Anyone can make a logo look good in a curated case study PDF. The real test is when that brand has to survive in the wild like on a chaotic social media timeline sandwiched between influencers and memes.

When your brand foundation is built on concepts like "powerful" and "approachability" like , you can’t just slap some generic, soulless stock vector on a post and call it a day. That’s how good brands die a slow, mediocre death.

Here is how we ensured the system didn't lose its soul when it left the logo phase:

The Illustrations: We needed visuals that felt rooted in the land, not dragged and dropped from a free assets folder. They are organic, intentional, and support the story without screaming over it.

Confidence doesn’t need to shout. It just needs to look better than everyone else.

We’ve been itching to finally share this project with you. And apparently, our timing is perfect because the just featured it before we even hit post.

Just confirming what we knew deep down when we wrapped it: we absolutely cooked on this one.

All flexing aside, introducing . This project became an instant studio favourite.

Our client, , approached us with a brief that was clear but incredibly challenging: How do you visualize "powerful" and "approachability"?

was founded on the belief that the current agricultural systems often fail to reflect the discipline and patience of the farmers themselves. Batula didn't just want a logo to sell produce; they wanted to build a visible system of order, fairness, and trust back into the supply chain.

How we executed the vision: We knew the ex*****on had to show restraint.

The resulting brand takes shape from this belief. We designed an icon that reflects growth rooted in stability, it feels grounded and upright. The colour palette was drawn directly from the land, using calm greens and natural tones. Nothing forced.

exists to honor farmers through action, not slogans. We believe this identity is a strong foundation for that mission, and we're pretty hyped the design world agrees.

This identity was a tool for building community. Every touchpoint reflects the brand’s belief that creativity belongs to everyone.

Workshops feel less like classes and more like gatherings. Families, friends, and strangers come together to learn, laugh, and create. The brand becomes a bridge between generations, keeping heritage alive while introducing new techniques and trends.

By shaping this way, .studios helped position it as more than a creative studio. It is a place of cultural pride, modern expression, and shared experience. A brand rooted in tradition but designed for today’s creative explorers.
