Gwamna Radda Ya Kaddamar Da Kwamitin Gudunarwa Na Banki Mallakin Jihar Katsina

Gwamnan Jihar Katsina, Malam Dikko Umaru Radda, Ph.D, CON, ya kaddamar da Kwamitin Gudanarwa (Board) na Bankin Amana Microfinance mallakin jihar Katsina, a wani mataki na sake fasalin tsarin bankin domin fara cikakken aiki daidai da ka’idojin babban bankin Nigeria, CBN.

Gwamnan ya bayyana mambobin kwamitin a matsayin mutane masu gaskiya da kwarewa a harkar banki, yana mai nuna kwarin gwiwa cewa za su jagoranci bankin yadda ya kamata tare da tabbatar da cigabansa. Ya kuma bayyana cewa gwamnatin jihar ta sake kara jarin bankin zuwa kimanin naira biliyan daya, tare da aiwatar da muhimman gyare-gyare domin fadada ayyukan hada-hadar kudi, tallafawa kanana da matsakaitan sana’o’i (MSMEs), da rage dogaro da bankunan kasuwanci.

A nasa jawabin karɓar aiki, Shugaban Kwamitin, Alhaji Muntaka Badaru Jikamshi, ya yaba da hangen nesa na gwamnan wajen bunkasa harkokin kasuwanci da sana’o’i, inda ya ambaci kafa Katsina State Enterprises Development Agency (KASEDA) a matsayin wani muhimmin mataki. Ya kuma yi alkawarin cewa kwamitin zai yi aiki tukuru domin tabbatar da nasara da dorewar bankin.

KATSINA STATE GOVERNMENT HAS COMPLETED CYCLE 2 OF MARRIAGE-RELATED MEDICAL EXAMINATIONS AHEAD OF MASS WEDDING IN KATSINA STATE.

The Katsina State Government, through the Ministry of Health, has successfully concluded the second cycle of marriage-related medical examinations for intending couples ahead of the forthcoming mass wedding.

The three-day statewide exercise commenced on Monday, 30th March, 2026, and was conducted across local government areas in Katsina State to include Katsina, Daura, Mani, Kankia, Dutsinma, Malumfashi, and Funtua, with designated centres serving neighbouring local governments to enhance accessibility and participation.

The exercise was designed to capture the remaining percentage of intending couples who were not covered during the first cycle, thereby ensuring that all beneficiaries undergo the required medical screening.

Throughout the exercise, medical teams carried out comprehensive screenings in line with established health guidelines, aimed at promoting healthy unions and preventing the spread of communicable and hereditary conditions.

This initiative reflects the continued commitment of the Katsina State Government to safeguarding the health and wellbeing of its citizens while strengthening family foundations.

The exercise concluded on Wednesday, 1st April, 2026, marking the successful completion of Cycle 2 of the medical examinations.

The process was closely monitored by a high-level supervision team from the Ministry of Health to ensure adherence to standards, quality service delivery, and the smooth conduct of activities across all designated centres.

INEC chairman, Prof. Joash Amupitan says Any call for his removal outside the established constitutional process is not only a distraction but a direct assault on the independence of the nation’s electoral umpire.

A statement by the Chief press secretary to the INEC chairman, Adedayo Oketola notes that While a political party or a group is allowed to protect their interest, the Commission decided to comply with the Judgment of the Court of Appeal to avert a situation that occurred in Zamfara and Plateau States where elected officials were removed by the Election Tribunal on account of disobedience to Court Judgment.

The statement further adds that Proceeding to monitor the congress and convention of the David Mark-led ADC would amount to a disobedience to the court order since the relief claimed in the Originating Summons and other court processes filed include an order restraining INEC from monitoring any meeting, congress and convention of the party.

FG DECLARES APRIL 3rd AND 6th PUBLIC HOLIDAYS FOR EASTER CELEBRATION

Operation HADIN KAI Lieutenant Colonel Sani Uba says,
Troops engaged the attackers with a well-coordinated offensive response, forcing the criminals to disorderly withdraw while the Air Component of Operation HADIN KAI provided close air support.

Subsequent exploitation along the terrorists’ withdrawal routes inflicted further losses, eliminating 38 terrorists.

Within the immediate engagement area and locals confirmed more than 30 additional terrorist bodies along the Garin Mallum–Garin Gajere axis into the Timbuktu Triangle, with several arms recovered.
