This phrase is the verbally equivalent of throwing your hands in the air - it signifies helplessness and lack of competence. Responding with “I’m not sure” threatens to send the conversation in a bad direction. You’re better off pushing for more information to get a better idea of what they are saying.

🎯 “LET ME CHECK.”
“Let me check” is a vague phrase that leaves your customer in limbo. Be more Specific.

🎯 “I CAN’T HELP YOU.”
This should be a no-brainer, but we’ve all been on the receiving end of this phrase with a customer service rep at one time or another.

🎯 “VISIT OUR HELP CENTER INSTEAD.”
It’s not okay to use the Help Center as a way to get the customer off the call. Telling a customer to reference the Help Center while you’re on the phone with them is like someone you ask for directions handing you a map and saying, “figure it out.” Rude, unprofessional, and a huge turnoff to all.

🎯 “CALM DOWN.”
If a customer is angry or upset, it is your job as the customer service rep to calm them down by solving their issue, not by telling them how they should be feeling.

🎯 “YOU’RE MISTAKEN.”
Telling a customer that he or she is wrong is committing a cardinal sin. You’re breaking the first commandment of good business.
Let’s double-check the first rule of business. Yep. It’s still “The customer is always right.”

🎯 “I’M HAVING A BAD DAY.”
We all have bad days. Negative external forces and events are a reality of life, and it’s up to each and every customer service professional to make sure their customers never hear about them or how they are affecting us.

🎯 “WE’VE NEVER HAD THIS ISSUE BEFORE.”
There are other ways to reassure customers that an issue they may be experiencing is rare and almost certain never to happen again. Whatever you do, do not use the “We’ve never had this issue before” approach.

Let's face it!  There's a hard, time-consuming way to build a business on social media. 🤷‍♀️

And then there's a much easier way that takes far less time.

I saw a video today from a prominent YouTuber (this guy posts videos 5 days a week) and today he was talking about what he hates about social media marketing.

His two biggest gripes were:

🎯 "I'm constantly having to feed a mercurial monster that, every single day, changes what it wants, and if you don't feed it the right thing, it spits it back at you"

and

🎯 "Constantly trying to come up with new creative ideas is incredibly taxing and can really burn you out and run you down"

and he's absolutely right about both of these things ...😎

which is why I decided several years ago to go a different route with my social media marketing and use it the easier, less time-consuming way.

Step 1:  Create a message that can be used over and over for months on end

Step 2 - Buy Attention

Step 3 - Capture Contact Info 

When you build your own list of highly qualified prospects ...

You can now reach these people over and over in the future (at little to no cost) without having to pay again for ads. ✌

In other words, you become your own traffic controller instead of paying Facebook, Instagram, or YouTube for that traffic.

The word is easily interchanged with the word “entrepreneur,” but there are distinct differences

The differences between solopreneurs and entrepreneurs can be subtle, especially since some entrepreneurs work alone until they can build their businesses enough to make a team. 👨‍🔧🙈

However, those who choose solopreneurship over entrepreneurship without plans to change have distinct differences.👌

ENTREPRENEURS PUT A FACE TO A COMPANY. 😎

While a solopreneur tends to spend hours working hard to build his business, an entrepreneur frequently prefers to be out making connections and getting the word out about his or her business. 💯💥

An entrepreneur may be perfectly happy doing that and that alone, leaving his team behind to do the work. 🤑😎

Solopreneurs can be great networkers, as well. One major difference is that an entrepreneur may be more comfortable spending all day at a variety of networking opportunities and client meetings, while a solopreneur is a content simply doing the work. 🎯💯

ENTREPRENEURS ARE MANAGERS. ✌🤵

When someone is an entrepreneur at heart, even as a solopreneur, he’s waiting for the day when he can build his team. 🧠👏

He may even begin working with freelance workers and virtual assistants to delegate his work. 👍

He is comfortable leading a team of people toward a defined goal.

Solopreneurs, on the other hand, likely are in no rush to hire an employee to manage. 👨‍🔧🙈

Even if the day comes when they must outsource work or bring in a team member, a solopreneur may find himself pitching in and doing the vast majority of the work himself. 😳😅
