He is marrying a single woman of God.

As part of the blessings and support for the couple:
• ₦10 million wedding gift

The Untold Story Of Igbo General That Fought On The Side Of Nigeria During The Civil War. Gen. Omar Sanda later to be known as Gen.Ike Nwachukwu
|

On May 30,1967 The republic of Biafra was declared. What followed was a bloody civil war that consumed more than four million souls. Nigeria was in turmoil and peace efforts failed. The most prominent was the Aburi accord reached .

Ironically, there are crop of men whose kith and kin were either part of Biafra or identified with the movement but still chose to fight on the side of Nigeria. Among them are the likes of Godwin Alabi-Isama, Ike Nwachukwu, Cyril Iweze, George Kurubo, Isaac Boro, Alfred Diette-Spiff, Emmanuel Ekpo, Okoi Arikpo, Godwin Ally and Kenule Saro-Wiwa among others.

One of the most prominent of this men was Ike Omar Sanda Nwachukwu’s.His mother was from Katsina, his father an Ovim, Isuikwuato man. He was born and raised in the north.Nwachukwu joined the Army and was under the protection of Brigadier Hassan Katsina, a Katsina Prince and Army Chief during the war.

He was a lieutenant at the break of the coup and was moved to army head quarters provosts, and later redeployed to join Lt Col. Muritala Muhamed’s division. There he became a company commander. He commanded company battalion all through Ore road and confrontations to the banks of Niger to Onisha. Not only that he fought against his people , Nwachukwu was one of the principal actors from the Nigerian side during the war .

According to him "I fought in the Nigerian Civil War as a Federal Army officer, principally because I believe in Nigeria´s unity. That belief remains my conviction that all Nigerians regardless of ethnic, religious or regional origin have the right to live, work and prosper anywhere and everywhere in Nigeria"

He was later appointed military Governor of Imo State. From 1986 to 1987 he was Minister for Employment, Labour and Productivity and from December 1987 to December 1989, he was Minister of Foreign Affairs. In September 1990 he was re-appointed Minister of Foreign Affairs. He retired as a Major General

Talk of those who fought for Nigeria, Alabi-Isama, a Lt.Col.in 1969, was a prominent actor. He did not really know he was from Ikilibi, Utagba Uno in the Igbo speaking part of Mid-West. He lost his father as a kid and followed his Yoruba mother.

He was a Principal Staff Officer in the war fighting on the side of Nigeria and was moved form the Second Division to Benjamin Adekunle’s Third Marine Commandos and ended up with Col. Olusegun Obasanjo. He retired as a Brigadier in 1977.

Cyril Iweze also fought for Nigeria and much later he was posted to ECOMOG in 1990 as Chief of Staff.

Major Isaac Boro, on his part led a group of Niger Delta militia that declared the Niger Delta Republic on February 23, 1966 and fought with federal forces for twelve days before being defeated. Boro and his men were jailed for treason. However, the federal regime of General Yakubu Gowon granted him amnesty on the eve of the Nigerian civil war in May 1967. He then enlisted and was commissioned as a major in the Nigerian army . He fought on the side of the Federal Government but was killed under mysterious circumstances in active service in 1968.

General Kurubowa ,who was the third Commander of the Nigerian Air Force (NAF) and the first indigenous Chief of Air Staff joined Biafra but later defected to Nigeria.Kurubo grouse was that Ojukwu whom he did not recognize as a superior officer put him in charge of logistics. Serving as the Eastern commander of logistics, Kurubo defected from Biafra to the Federal Government. He was later made Nigerian ambassador to the Soviet Union.

65 years ago today, you were assassinated. Aided by your own countrymen headed by Mobutu Seseseko!

The jubilation on the street when you were captured by these evil men! Congolese would have cried if they knew they were actually handing an eternal predicament to their country but naively, they didn't know!

Today, we remember you Patrice Lumumba, the true son of Congo 🇨🇩

THE TREMENDOUS DANGER OF COMING ONLINE TO PUBLICLY TELL YOUR MARRIAGE BREAK UP STORY …. IT USUALLY MORPHS INTO A SERIOUS UNENDING ONLINE WAR

IT ALMOST NEVER ENDS WELL. SO AVOID IT AT ALL COST

YOU WILL GET OUR ATTENTION. WE WILL SYMPATHISE AND EMPATHISE WITH YOU. BUT THE BITTERNESS AND ENMITY BETWEEN YOU AND YOUR EX WILL DEEPEN AND WORSEN EXPONENTIALLY AND YOUR CHILDREN WILL SUFFER IT THE MOST

There is a kind of damage that never heals properly.
It is not the damage done in courtrooms.
It is the damage done on timelines.

I watched it happen to a woman I once knew.

Let me call her Miriam.

Miriam used to laugh easily. The kind of laugh that filled a room and softened sharp days. She married young. Built a home brick by brick. Had children who looked like both their parents in different seasons. From the outside, it was an ordinary marriage. Inside, it was complicated. Like most marriages are.

They argued.
They disappointed each other.
They hurt each other in ways they never intended.

Then one day, the marriage cracked beyond repair.

But the real destruction did not start with the separation.

It started with the posts.

One night, after the children had slept, Miriam opened her phone with shaking hands. She was tired of carrying the pain alone. She typed. Deleted. Typed again. Then she pressed post.

A long story. Names removed but identities obvious.

Every flaw magnified.

Every mistake flattened into a single narrative.

Comments poured in like fire.

“You deserve better.”
“He was never serious.”
“You were married to a narcissist.”

Each comment felt like validation. Like relief. Like air.

Until the next morning.

Her children woke up and went to school.
Their classmates had phones.
Their teachers had phones.
Their aunties had phones.
Their uncles had phones.

And suddenly, the story of their parents collapse was no longer private pain.

It was public entertainment.

Weeks later, their father responded.

Screenshots. Counter stories. His own truth. His own anger. His own wounded pride. Bloggers paid to do as much damage to his ex-wife’s reputation as she did to his own.

Caution is thrown to the wind and a couple who once shared the deepest form of intimacy shred themselves and everything they hold dear online before a public audience whose only interest is to be entertained as they jump from post to post, comment section to comment section.

Many taking sides, many of them endorsing, validating, laughing, cheering and m0ck 1ng the once admired couple whose marriage was once coveted by the same audience.

Pages are created to m0ck and deride each party.

Beautiful family pictures which were once praised are now circulated with pitiful write-ups. A family that was once the envy of the public becomes a symbol of pain and an object of caricature

Public ridicule takes the place where applause and adulation once stood.

What followed was not healing.
It was a digital war.

AND THE INTERNET NEVER FORGETS

Two people who once shared a bed now fighting for public sympathy.

Two people who once prayed for children now forgetting that those children still existed.

And here is the truth people refuse to say loudly.

When you take marital issues to social media, nobody really wins.

But the children always lose.

They lose respect for both parents.
They lose safety.
They lose the freedom to love both parents without guilt.
They lose their private history.

Children should never grow up reading comment sections to understand why their family broke apart.

A separation is painful.
A divorce is devastating.

But public character a$$a$$1nation is irreversible.

Your children will grow.
They will ask questions.
They will search names.
They will read posts written in anger, exhaustion, and heartbreak.

And no amount of later explanations will erase the image formed in their minds.

Here is the hard truth.

Social media is not a therapist.
It is not a mediator.
It is not a court of wisdom.

It amplifies emotion but kills nuance.
It rewards outrage, not accuracy.
It feeds pain but does not heal it.

The people cheering you today will not be there tomorrow when your child asks
Why did you expose my father
Why did you shame my mother
Why did you make my pain public

There are wounds that need to be spoken.
But not every wound needs an audience.

There are stories that need to be told.
But not every story needs a platform.

If you must speak, speak to a counselor.
Speak to a trusted elder.
Speak to a therapist.
Speak to God in the quiet hours.

But protect your children from adult bitterness.

You may no longer be husband and wife.
But you will always be parents.

And parenthood demands restraint even when marriage fails.

Your dignity matters.
Your healing matters.
But your children future matters more.

Do not trade long term peace for short term validation.
Do not trade your child emotional safety for likes and comments.
Do not burn the bridge your children must cross for the rest of their lives.

Some stories should be healed in private.
Some pain should be processed in silence.
Some dignity should be preserved even when love fails.

Not everything needs to be posted.
Not everything needs to be explained.
Not everything needs to be proven.

Wisdom is knowing when to stay quiet.
Maturity is protecting what remains when something ends.

And when marriage ends, what remains are the children.

Guard them fiercely.

Anything that will not be in their best interest should never be done by any of the parties

It is bad enough that a marriage ended. The peace and sanity of their children does not have to end with the marriage. The future of the children should not be blighted further by their parents competing with each other on who will a$$a$$1nate the character of the other the most.

Avoid it at all cost. You still share children together so you will be related for life. Always remember this

🚨 Alleged Breaking News Out of Abuja 🚨

Nigeria woke up to shockwaves this morning as reports emerged that two judges scheduled to preside over the trial of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu were involved in a fatal and deeply suspicious car crash.

According to early, unconfirmed reports, both judges died instantly at the scene — a development already sending tremors through the nation’s judiciary and political landscape.

Eyewitnesses described the crash as “unnaturally sudden… like something wasn’t right.”
Their words have ignited a firestorm of questions, theories, and fear about what may truly be unfolding behind the scenes.

A senior court insider, speaking anonymously, warned:

> “Nigeria is tipping into dangerous territory. When two judges tied to a high-profile case die on the morning of the hearing… it’s no coincidence. Something bigger is moving.”

Meanwhile, tension is rising outside the courthouse as pro-Biafra activists react with fury and disbelief. One voice pierced through the chaos:

> “If justice cannot walk in Nigeria, then justice will rise from the ashes!”

Whether coincidence, conspiracy, or something far darker…
The nation is watching. The world is listening.
And the questions are only beginning.
