Segun Ogunleye is a seasoned marketing and brand leader currently serving as Head of Marketing, Africa Partner Markets and Beer Lead for South, West and Central Africa at Diageo. In this role, he leads marketing strategy across key African markets, driving growth and brand impact within one of the world’s leading beverage companies.
Before joining Diageo, Segun spent over a decade at Seven-Up Bottling Company, where he rose to General Manager of Marketing. He played a pivotal role in strengthening iconic brands, leading innovations, and expanding across multiple product categories. His career journey also includes experience at Mondelēz International and Nike, shaping his expertise in brand building and consumer engagement.
Segun holds an MSc in Media and Communications from Pan-Atlantic University, alongside advanced executive training in branding and marketing. He is widely recognised for blending strategic thinking with creative leadership to build meaningful, high-impact brand experiences.
