Affiliate Marketing, or Amazon KDP?

Which should you go for?

Apart from Freelancing, NFTs and Coding, everybody is going krazy promoting these two businesses.

You have been introduced to the two, and both look promising.

But you can't make a decision.

By the time you're done reading this checklist, you should know which one to go for.

First of all, let's understand what affiliate marketing is. Affiliate marketing is an online business which requires you to recommend helpful products to people who need them.

Below are the important questions.

1. Is making money more important what your friends think about affiliate marketing ?

2. Are you ready to be consistent with creating content (mainly written) for your prospects?

3. Are you ready to deal with people and hold classes to dish value?

4. Are you willing to invest time and money in yourself and the business?

5. Is your desire to grow financially and mentally strong enough to make you LEARN how to do all these?

If your answer to at least 4 (especially number 5) is Yes, Affiliate Marketing is for you.

Read no further.

But if it's NO...

The List For Amazon KDP

Amazon KDP is a platform where people like you and I can become authors and more importantly, pay you. All you have to do is, create a book, set things in place and receive payment called "royalties".

But do you want to know what it involves?

HERE are the important questions.

1. Do you have, or want to work up the discipline to create quality books? (You don't have to be a writer)

2. Are you willing to invest time and money into learning how to create e-books that sell on KDP?

3. Are you ready to be consistent in uploading books? (The money is in the number of quality books published)

4. Are you interested in an online business where you don't need to convince people to buy from you like in social media marketing ?

and Lastly,

5. Is your desire for financial growth strong enough to make you want to learn all these?

If your answer to at least 4 of them is YES, then
Amazon KDP is for you.

All in all, you have to be ready.

The edge Affiliate Marketing has is the Growth and transformation involved.

Amazon KDP's edge is the fact that a book that you published in 2021 can still pay you in 2030. Payment is for life.

Don't pressure yourself. I have prepared something for you.

If you just got the 72IG and your mentor "abandoned" you, do the following to find your footing.

Before I go any further, I'll briefly share my story.

I struggled to raise cash for the 72IG. It was 40K then. I felt overwhelmed by the number of videos. However, I did not think of quitting because quitting did not make sense. Fast forward to a few weeks later and I had not only made my first three sales, I already was growing my WhatsApp list.

Do this:

1. Subscribe to Toyin Omotoso's email list.

90% of his content is aimed at cutting soap for up and coming online entrepreneurs, affiliates or not. There are the options for free subscription and paid subscription. If you want the free option, go back to the welcome mail he sent you and subscribe there.

2. Make sure you join "Money or Marketing Twitter."

That's a term used to define optimizing your account from bio to followership so your timeline always feature content from people within the Online Business niche.

Follow figures like Ronald Nzimora, Czar Nnamani, Bruno Nwogu, Toyin Omotoso etc. This way, you are exposed to their thought processes and tips all of which will help you get better.

Make sure you attend a good deal of live meeting like Spaces, Zoom and Clubhouse organized by top affiliates.

3. Understand that you are doing a business.

Fine you can dedicate 3, 4 hours to this, especially if you don't have money for paid ads, but since you are trying to make money from this business, you have to put in work. When you have accepted this, the you will see positive results.

4. Focus on yourself and your work.

Affiliate Marketing money will go round 100×. Don't ki.ll yourself when you see others having the audacity to make it while you are still struggling. No lose focus.

5. Go study the da.mn course.

Start with the WhatsApp course. Digest it. From the videos to the PDFs.

And something I wish I did earlier...

6. Focus on growing a list while doing all of this.

Here's How a Heartless Scammer Will do Wonders for Your Business.

You must have seen the viral documentary, The Tinder Swindler (if you haven't, hide your face). There's a goldmine of lessons you can use to. 10× your business from that story.

From a moral, normal human being standpoint, Simon Leviev is a degenerate.

From a Sales and Marketing perspective, he was a G!

Here's what he did that you should copy:

1. Emotional Connection:

All three women confessed they felt like they had known him for years after one conversation with him. He knew how to bond with them: using his ex and daughter, his friendship with Peter, his ability to listen unlike most men. This connection made them think he SAW them.

You want to build a connection with your target audience? Make sure they feel seen and understood by you.

A way to do this is...

2. Gather Crazy Social Proof:

I mean, this Simon guy threw parties, drove luxury cars all of which were flaunted on his Instagram which had hundreds of thousands of followers.

Social proof make people feel relaxed and safe with your brand.

This is what you should do: Collect EVERY review, screenshot them. Every positive comment about your person or brand should make it to your WhatsApp status, Instagram page, page, landing pages, ads. No prospect will come to you if they are not convinced you can help them just like you helped all those people.

Now this inhumane part you should learn from

3. Simon Took and Took and Took:

In sales, this is Upselling, where you get your client to buy more of what you sell, especially something that complements what they bought the first time.

Simon first took $25,000 from the first woman, then $10,000, then $30,000.

Statistics show that it is easier to sell to people who once patronized you. So did you sell somebody a shirt last week? Sell them that watch and that delicious perfume and those shoes. Do this without conscience.

"When antidepressants cost money, money buys happiness."

— Random Facebook User.

But is this really true?

When you are penniless, stripped down to kobi, you begin to think about Money and all the happiness it brings.

But then you also hear, Money is not everything. And it's always seems to be the rich who say this.

Which is now true?

I tell you, there are certain statements—even thoughts—your financial situation keeps you from making, because they are words that can only come out of a mouth that have tasted privilege. Because they are lessons experience teaches you to take note of.

You can't constantly worry where the next meal will come from and think money doesn't buy happiness, can you?

When a Rich woman says "Money isn't everything", she has experienced what her money had to give and still came up empty, still lacking that fulfilment.

A rich man who dies despite having a heart transplant goes to his grave knowing money isn't everything. But he has had a chance at happiness and good health with his money and still could not get it.

Happiness is within us, they say.

It is true. You can live in a run down apartment, always have 1k in your account, owe MTN 2,997 Naira and NEPA and have a shining light inside of you. Happy as a pig rolling in mud.

But as a Nigerian living in poverty, you're just a sickness away from having your fulfilment permanently stopped.

There's a constant threat to your life when you are poor.

1. Money gives you a fighting chance.

You need to experience life in different degrees: take trips, medical check-ups, live a better quality of life in order for you to decide if money won't do anything for your happiness.

2. Money empowers you to give others that fighting chance.
Like Toyin Omotoso has done.

So yes, all what you heard about money is true, except "Money is the root of all evil"😂

In all your getting, get money. It's better to cry in mercedes than a danfo. I mean, it's more convenient.

No action is alone.

We humans are too in tune with our personalities and our interactions with the world to have any "random" action.

Even if you can't explain a certain decision, you'll come to see it doesn't stray too far away from your essence.

Sometimes it is rooted in cause and effect. Inspired by factors bigger than ourselves, like the environment for starters.

Take for example, the butterfly effect.

The butterfly effect is a concept used to explain how our actions are so important that a slight change in them will alter future events.

So yes, imagine your dad frequented the bar, and met a woman who came in with her friends from out of town for a birthday party, who later became your mother.
If he hadn't gone to the club that day, he would most likely not have met her, and you'd not have been born.

Single actions trigger a series of events that would not have happened if an action had not taken place.

Therefore decisions make for bitter consequences, or graceful rewards.

This is a new week. As you go out today, be more intentional.

Do that laundry. Make that call. Sign up for that course. Make that music. Send that application.

The world is vast and beyond our fingertips, but you have been given some amount of control.

Use it wisely or face the consequences and regret later.

Few years ago, banks did something we never thought possible.

They called it the future and anybody who didn't not jump on it would be left behind.

It promised a lot;

For the first time, the average Nigerian would be able to make bank transactions from the comfort of their home.

They no longer had to stand in long, stressful queues.

They offered a lifestyle with free movement and pockets. All their monies would be in the bank, one ussd code away.

A cashless policy.

With all these gifts, one would think Nigerians would rush to embrace it.

They didn't❌

I know You know someone who said she wanted to feel her cash.

I know someone who said he likes having money he can see, not meaningless numbers on his phone screen.

The cashless policy campaign doubled in intensity and people began to get how it worked.

BUT they did not still embrace it.

They could not fathom change. Were scared of it.

However, gradually, people started to give it a try.

By the end of the year, it was accepted.

And, when years later, POS service came into the picture, everybody was quick to embrace it.

***

For the longest time, employees whose roles in companies did not necessarily require their physical presence would ask for remote options.

But It was considered lazy in Nigeria. The perception of hustle was that it happened on site. all physical presence.

Only freelancers, most of them with foreign clients, had the opportunity to work remote.

Then 2020 came.

Lockdown happened.

Businesses folded.

Bosses realized work could be handled from home, 6 states away.

Brands that had to be consistent, employed skills over WhatsApp.

We left 2020 with something new:

A possibility. The knowledge of a new working culture.

Now, job vacancies are giving the option of partly remote.

Some jobs are asking for totally remote workers.

It took a pandemic for this change to happen.

***

Now our psychology of making money is faced with change.

You don't have to use your degree to make Bank.

You don't have to go to university to earn in dollars while living in Nigeria.

You don't even need to own a laptop.

Weekly, young people testify how the internet pays them.

From banking to work culture to stream of income, change is constant.

You or your skepticism cannot stand in the way of change.

And Isn't it glorious how this change gives you a better living experience?😁😁

TONIGHT, I will show you how to be a part of this change, this cultural movement, this money culture.

It is here to stay.

It will not fade.

It can not "cast" or "crash".

It is an unstoppable Force. ✊🏽

As in, you're tired of the way you're living and spending,

SINS OF AFFILIATE MARKETERS.

If you think affiliate marketing is a network marketing sham, you have been led astray, and this is the reason.

Let's start with the routine of the average nigerian affiliate marketer.

Introducing Samuel. New Affiliate.

Samuel buys the course. Uses 6 days to finish 12 days worth of videos and PDFs, taking Sunday off to rest, because you know, God did, and he's God's carbon copy according to Genesis.

On Monday, he dives into social media and start promoting. Just. Like. That. But God knows he promotes not the business, but another thing entirely, because "Join now and change your story" cannot what he's saying about affiliate marketing. Lai Lai.

Misinformation is a virus, and it can only be spread by those who the right information is expected from.
Many affiliate marketers don't know affiliate marketing well enough to even whisper about it, and they have ended up commiting sins.

1. The sin of misunderstanding and ignorance.

They themselves think it works like network marketing or MLM. That's what makes you ignore posts about Affiliate Marketing, because they give content that makes you associate the business with network marketing.

2. The sin of ignorant equivalence.
Words are important to a Marketer of any denomination. Many affiliates use them with reckless abandon to sell.
Words like Join and Start are not the same. Or similar.
You JOIN a Network Marketing platform. You START an affiliate marketing business. You don't JOIN am affiliate marketing business.

Phrases like "bring people" and "sell to people" are not the same in any translation of "Brighter Grammar"

In Network Marketing, you BRING PEOPLE. Affiliate Marketing is successful when you SELL TO PEOPLE.

The difference is stark. Clear. You don't deserve to be confused about the two.

You learn more while "doing" than you do while learning.

Of course, you will make mistakes, but you learn from them. This doesn't mean in any way that you should skip the learning process.

You study then implement from time to time. You pick up corrections and stay steps ahead of your competition who spends time getting"ready" and learning because you're one practical experience in the field.

No matter how ready you get. No matter how you're pumped full of theories and hypothesis, you are going to make mistakes when you get practical.

So why no get practical before then?

This advice works like a charm in the online business. You learn what works in theory and learn the ropes by going into the wild.

Tomorrow evening, I will be teaching you the ropes on how to earn with affiliate marketing Business.

Save for the money, nothing else is really shocking, neither is there anything absolutely new to understand about people donating money to Davido.

It's the end result of

—the compounding effect,

— constant value (music, shows, generosity) which brings about

—people liking you and naturally being open to repaying that value.

—the bandwagon effect. The easiest part. A does transfer, B wants to do. C too. D has something to prove. E doesn't even know why its sending money to a billionaire, but they sha know people like who they are sending money to.

It's two hours now and Davido has gotten 78 million naira. But there's 10 years of consistency behind it.

When you hear people say "I made 2 million in a week", they didn't do it overnight.

It's the compound effect showing you its power.
