You need to know the set of people your products or services are for.
Who are they?
What are their pains?
What do they do?
Where do they live?
What are their hobbies?
What kind of movie shows do they watch?
Are they married?
Do they have kids?
What brand of cars do they drive?
Etc.
You need to be as detailed as possible.

What type of creative will grab their attention?
If you want to sell an Harley Davidson Motorcycle, you don't advertise it using little babies as part of the creatives.
Beautiful women on the bikes will do the trick.
From Ads copy to the image or video creative.

I see a lot of people don't do this.
When you want to run ads, have multiple videos or images and ad copies to test against different audiences.
so you can quickly find out what will give you the best results.
Duplicate your ad sets into two or three and then publish, give it about 1-3 days and watch their performance, stop the ads that aren't doing well and let the ones doing well fly.
Test. Test. Test.
