“Nothing Is Too Small to Take to God in Prayer.”
Nothing Is Too Small to Take to God in Prayer.
Last night, I was really overwhelmed with so many thoughts and worries. Thought of moving moving my order from ojota was part part of my worrries.
But after I slept, I woke up early this morning, said a short prayer, and simply left everything in God’s hands.
As I got into a vehicle heading to Lagos, I felt a nudge in my spirit to ask the driver if he could help me with my load. And guess what? He said yes!
After dropping off the other passengers at the park, he came with me right away. Honestly, I was a bit worried because I didn’t want to delay him—drivers usually don’t have much patience.
Then he asked, “Madam, will you spend up to two hours?”
I said, “No.”
He replied, “Then don’t worry.”
Long story short, this man really helped me wholeheartedly. He was so cheerful and kind. He even helped me carry part of my load, and by a little past 12, I had arrived at my destination safely. The journey was so smooth.
Why am I sharing this story?
Sometimes, we think some things are too small or ordinary to pray about. But I want to remind you today that God cares about every detail of our lives.
One CAC hymn says:
“Oh, what peace we often forfeit,
Oh, what needless pain we bear,
All because we do not carry
Everything to God in prayer.”
And the Bible says:
“For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities...” — Hebrews 4:15 (KJV).
This simply reminds us that Jesus understands our weaknesses, our worries, our struggles, and everything we go through.
So, no matter the challenges you are facing, tell it to God—and also stay open to the help and opportunities He may send your way.
God may answer your prayer through a person, an idea, a sudden opportunity, or even a simple conversation you almost didn’t plan to have.
Carry everything to God in prayer. Nothing is too small for Him.
You may not know how God will answer, but never underestimate what can happen when you pray and remain open to His leading.
SHALOM. 🙏
