Most people have never actually worked with a great virtual assistant, and that is exactly why so many business owners have quietly decided that getting help just does not work for them.

What they usually got was someone they had to chase and explain everything to twice, someone who added stress instead of removing it, so they went back to doing it all themselves.

I do not blame them for the feeling, but I do not agree with the conclusion because the problem was never that good support does not exist.

The problem is that almost nobody is trained to a real standard before they are handed someone else's business to look after.

This is the story of a young woman this week.

For me, the issue isn't the resignation. it's the calling of an employee 'stupid' in a business environment.

Your internal communication is as important as your marketing communication because your employees are the first people you market to on a daily basis.

Some companies look very put together…

Until you enter the group chat 😭

Confusion.
Mixed signals.
“Please circle back” with no context.

And then you understand why nothing is moving.
Internal communication is the real engine of any business.

If it’s clear → things flow.
If it’s messy → everything feels hard.
Not because people are not good…
but because nobody is aligned.

You can’t scale a business where your team is focused on emotional survival instead of actual work.

It will show eventually.
