How My Friend "Emmanuel" Lost N173,000 and His Smartphone He Bought Three Months Ago.
Just last week Emmanuel came back home while I was around in the evening looking so sad. I asked him
"Guy why the bad look, your babe break your heart?"
He answered. "No, I just lost 170k plus and my Android phone"
"Are you serious, How, Where?" I asked him.
Tears dropped from his eyes as he brief me how it happened.

I forgot to set Alarm ⏰ yesterday, so I woke up late this morning.
Immediately I see the brightness this morning 🌅 I rushed to the bathroom to clean up and set for work, In few minutes I dash out of the house.
On getting to the Bus Stop there where many people there all waiting for Bus. After some minutes at the Bus Stop waiting too a Bus pull over and we all rush towards it, I have to fight my Way in cause it already 8am and I have to at my place of work latest 8:30am.
You know how traffic 🚦 is in Ajah nah.
When I eventually got to my work place it's some minutes passed 9am according to the well clock in the reception. One of my colleagues approach me, we greeted.
So he asked why I came late today and not answering my calls. "I was like my phone No ring nah" putting hand into my pocket to bring out my phone 🤳 I couldn't find it. The phone is gone.
But am 100% sure I took my phone along with me when I left the house 🏠 cause I checked time on the phone while at the Bus Stop.
I can't simply explain how the phone 📱 disappear, maybe someone picked it for my pocket while struggling to enter Bus or maybe the phone fell down I can't really say.
That moment I couldn't get myself, I ask my Colleague to try call my lines again. This time switch off.
After some minutes he tried Calling my lines again, this time it rang but the person at other ends doesn't pick the call. I collected his phone 📱 Call, Call and Call, send text, Nothing.
I gave up and returned his phone, Just then I remember my ATM Card is at the back of my phone in the pouch. Immediately my colleague had this he say "Guy go meet boss collect permission and rush to your bank 🏦 to block the Card."
I went to my boss office, explained things to him and rush to my nearest bank branch.
About 30min I reach bank. I was allowed in and attended to cause it's a case of Emergency, After the lady who attended to me blocked the Card, I requested she check my account balance.
She said N89 is my Balance. 89k or what did you say?
She wrote N89.31 on a paper. But my balance supposed to be N173k?
She checked the transaction histories and reply.
My balance was N173,451 before, but the money was used to buy stuffs online via the ATM Card this morning.

Emmanuel Lost 173k and his Smartphone he bought 65k, just some months ago he bought the phone ooo. I really feel bad 😞 for him losing 173k and 65k, total of 238,000 naira one morning from someone earning 47k as salary. All is life savings is gone and there is nothing he can do about it. he told me the lady who attended to him said the transaction was processed with the One Time Password 🔑 (OTP) send to his phone number.
Losing 238k in this era of change we are.....hmm!
Can't just imagine how many months or maybe years it took him to save that sum of money from his salaries after removing Feeding cost and transport fee to work tro and fro, Not even talk about other important bills and stuffs he will have to pay for. It's just....😟
Assuming his Sim Card was password 🔑 maybe this couldn't have happened. But one mistake he made was putting his ATM Card in is phone pouch. He just have to take his fate poor dude.
