I Learned Something About Selling Digital Solutions That Changed How I Work.
For a while, I thought the best way to help a business owner was simple:
Study the business → understand the vision → build the solution → present it.
So I would research their brand, services, audience and goals, then create a prototype of what their website, funnel or digital system could look like.
The idea was simple:
Don't stress the business owner with starting from scratch. Let me understand what you need and show you the direction.
But I learned something.
Even when someone loves the solution, they may still wonder:
"Will it work?"
"Is this the right time?"
"Can I trust the process?"
"Should I invest now?"
And honestly, that can be challenging when you know how much thought and work went into creating the solution.
But I've realised that a great solution isn't automatically the right solution for everyone at every moment.
Sometimes it's timing.
Sometimes it's budget.
Sometimes it's trust.
And sometimes, you're simply speaking to the wrong person.
That experience has helped me refine how I work.
Today, it's not just about building something that looks good.
It's about understanding the real problem, communicating the value clearly, and making sure the solution actually makes sense for the business.
Because there's a difference between building something and building something with purpose....
