It's not enough to move data between systems.

The data must also be structured in a way that makes it useful.

Every class is revealing another piece of the automation puzzle.

Although the lesson wasn't completed in class, the concept itself was valuable.

FROM TEMPLATE TO PRACTICAL AUTOMATION 🤖

One of our recent AI Automation exercises involved exploring an n8n workflow template for automating X (Twitter) posting with an AI Agent, Google Sheets and the X API.

The objective wasn't simply to copy a template.

It was to understand the workflow structure and how the different components could be customized and connected.

We also encountered a real-world challenge: the required X API access now comes with a cost.

But even that became part of the learning.

Automation isn't only about building workflows. It's also about understanding the APIs, credentials, permissions, limitations and costs behind them.

Templates can accelerate the process.

Understanding what's under the hood is what builds real automation skills.

One of the latest exercises involved connecting a Telegram bot with n8n and using ngrok to make a local environment accessible through HTTPS.

This is where automation becomes interesting.

A business could potentially use similar systems to receive information, process requests, trigger actions and respond to customers with less manual intervention.

The technology may look complicated at first.

But once we understand what each component does, the picture becomes much clearer.
