⭐ The commissioning of the private refinery means a lot of things to the Nigerian economy:
⭐ It will address the perennial energy supply crisis, meeting Nigeria's local demand for all refined products 100%
⭐ Aside meeting the local demands, the refinery will have surplus refined products for exports
⭐ This will create tens of thousands of jobs for Nigerians in Nigeria
⭐ Very importantly, this will strengthen the Nigerian currency, as it will reduce the demand for dollars and ease the pressure on the Naira. In 2022 alone, Nigeria spent $23 Billion USD on the importation of PMS and other petroleum products 😭😢
⭐ It will also provide essential raw materials to a wide range of manufacturing sectors, including plastics, pharmaceuticals, food and beverages, packaging, construction, and more
This is 2geda's mission - to change Nigeria from a country that consumes only imported products (physical and digital), to a market that produces all it needs, and exports the surplus
Aliko Dangote, Innocent Chukwuma (of Innoson Motors) and others are leading the way, while we at 2geda are building a strong army of believers who will produce, use, and promote products made locally.
Who will produce the next Nigerian-made mobile phone, or build a lithium (and other minerals) processing factory, or produce high quality shoes, clothes and other fashion products, or develop social media apps, video streaming apps, operating systems for computer devices?
We can produce all we use, and use all we produce.
