Digital marketing is a common trend of promoting and increasing sales, It has become one of the latest ways goods are marketed in recent times and this is because of the advantage it provides to firms. The reason for the adoption of this, is because of the capacity to reach a wider audience but before we go on let's define this and let's start by breaking it down.
We know that marketing deals with the promotion, sales and distribution of products and services but when it comes to digital marketing it's majorly about doing this online and the channels involved here are the use of:
1) E-mails: One of the first digital ways of marketing but still part of the effectual channels. This is basically known for communicating to anticipated customers or clients about your product, whether to persuade or pass information to them.
2) SEO (Search Engine Optimization) / Website marketing: Are known as the centerpiece of marketing activities online because it provides you with the info which brings your awareness to an organization product in a clear, meaningful and memorable way.
3) Social media: These consists of platforms that provides businesses with the chance to build brand awareness, establish trust, gain leads, track users data and target specific audience. An example of social media platforms are Facebook, Twitter & Instagram.
4) Content marketing: is usually done on most channels indirectly but the goal of this is to reach potential customers through the use of written, visual, or video content etc. This has to be creatively done, it has to be valuable and relevant in order to gain the interest of the target customers.
