In the next 24 hours, the Nigerian electoral umpire, the Independent Electoral Commission, INEC, will be making a decisive announcement.

Nigerians and the business community will know who will be heading Africa's largest economy in the next four years. Incumbent President Muhammadu Buhari of the All Progressives Congress, APC Party and Mr. Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP are the two front-runners. They are expected to be trailed by insignificant numbers by over 60 other candidates by the time INEC blows the final whistle.

While the election has echoed some of the hiccups that creates doubts on the credibility and fairness of the process, there are signs that the 2019 presidential elections will have a peaceful outcome.

For us in the marketing and innovations business, there are various concerns as to where the economy will tilt depending on whom among the two frontline candidates become the eventual winner of this all-important contest.

Across political, economic, social, technological, legal, environmental indices, the next 24 hours will change our business environment and we should brace up by pricing-in the eventual result...............

I am grateful, I am thankful, and your efforts humble me, to those who came out to vote, those who were there to guarantee the win, those who were up all day and night to make this day a reality, I want to say a big thank you, to my family (especially Mrs Funke Johnson), your moral and physical support cannot be quantified, my friends, my avid supporters, ward leaders, ward chairmen, to the LCDA chairman of Ejigbo, Hon. Monsuru Bello (Obe), the chairman of Isolo LGA Hon. Shamsideen Olaleye, to the respective excos, the members of both leadership houses in Ejigbo and Isolo, to all of the people in every street covered under /Isolo II, I want to say a special thank you, to all the leaders and elders of each of these communities that I will be representing, I want to thank you all, to the ethnic groups that supported us in our march to victory, I want to say thank you.
