Forget the political noise for a moment.

Look at your food bills.
Look at your transport costs.
Look at your rent.
Look at your electricity bill.
Look at your income and purchasing power.
Look at the opportunities available to you and your family.

Then ask yourself one simple question:

Since May 2023, has your life actually improved?

Elections give citizens an opportunity to assess those governing them based on their record and their own lived experience.

I have said this before, and I believe it is important to remind Nigerians of my position as we approach 2027.

Peter Obi has my support for the presidency.

But my position is clear, I am not supporting the idea of Peter Obi becoming somebody else’s Vice President.

The day Peter Obi accepts a Vice Presidential position, I will walk away from his corner. I have said this plainly, and I stand by it.

My concern is not about personalities. It is about the kind of leadership Nigeria needs and the direction in which we want our country to go.

I have also argued that we should begin to rethink the age of those seeking executive office. The Nigerian presidency should not become a retirement home for politicians.

I believe there should be a serious national conversation about limiting presidential and gubernatorial candidates to those aged 70 or below.

Nigeria needs leadership that is focused on the future, not simply another cycle of political succession.

These are principles I have stated publicly, and Nigerians should judge them for themselves. ă‚švirală‚·

THIS IS WHY NIGERIANS MUST KEEP DEMANDING ACCOUNTABILITY!

“The former Governor of Plateau State wanted us to supply vehicles, and we delivered the vehicles. But they wanted me to inflate invoices for vehicles from ₦40 million to ₦80 million.”

If this allegation is accurate, think about it: ₦40 million becoming ₦80 million on paper! Where would the extra money have gone?

This is exactly why Nigerians must continue demanding transparency and accountability in public spending. Public office should be about service to the people, not personal enrichment.

We must make public office less financially attractive to anyone whose only interest is access to public funds. Anyone found guilty of stealing public money, regardless of party, tribe or position, should face the full consequences of the law.

For those of us who support Peter Obi, the expectation should be clear: accountability, prudent management of public resources and leadership that puts Nigerians first.

But beyond Peter Obi or any individual politician, Nigeria needs institutions strong enough to investigate corruption and hold everyone accountable.
