If you were a big business, with huge advertising budgets, it would be easy to get your brand in front of people through advertising, but if you’re reading this, chances are, you are growing, like us.
While you may not have the funds like other bigger brands, you may be able to tap into the opportunities the internet presents to get your brand noticed by your target audience. This tips are not exhaustive for all businesses but if this cap fits you, here are a few things you can do:
1) Google and study the FIFA Brand Guidelines to be sure you’re not infringing on any rights. Study what you can and can’t do because you haven’t paid for it. For instance, you can use their logos, official copy, or possibly hashtags too, depending on what it says. The key is to play within the rules.
2) If your business is a restaurant, for instance, you can create engagement by organizing views. On social media, create flyers with which you can create a buzz for the event.
3) Taking advantage of the season, you can also organize giveaways on your page. Use terms like match score predictions and so on. The idea is to make it relevant to the season.
4) Marketing emails: If you are able to collect emails of both prospects and customers for your business, email marketing is one way you can communicate with them during the season. For instance, offering discounts based on the season.
5) Use hashtags that centre on the season (be sure to read FIFA’s guidelines) so your posts can be found.
