Again Gunmen K!££€d Ten Leaders in Imo State, Nigeria.

The incident occurred on Saturday evening at Umucheke Okwe, a community in Onuimo Local Government Area of Imo State.

The residents told us that the victims included the President-General of the community, Hyginus Ohazuruike, and nine other village chiefs.

A resident of the community, who spoke under anonymity , said that the gunmen stormed the president-general’s shop where he and the village chiefs were having a meeting in the community and opened fire on them.

“Immediately the gunmen got to the shop which is inside the community market at Umucheke, they opened fire on the president-general and others having a meeting with him.

“They killed all the community leaders and burnt the place with their corpses inside,” he said.

Another resident, who identified himself simply as Iyke, said that the villagers are on the run, especially other local chiefs in the community for fear of another attack.

“According to him, "We don’t know the people who carried out the attack or why they attacked,” Iyke said.

The identified slain village chiefs are Mr Hyginus Ohazuruike, Chief Martin Osigwe, Ofoma Eji, Onuoha, Frederick Obiechefu, Ignatius Onuoha and Chinedu, others

The police spokesperson in Imo State, Henry Okoye, did not respond to calls and a text seeking his comments.

The Founder and International Director of HPGH Global Foundation, Amb. Michael Bass has been Honored With African Global Peace Award as the Prince of Peace Ambassador.
Amb. Michael Bass was born in June 1956 in Oakland, California, though unmarried, has a seven year son.
He is Academicaly sound as graduate of High School in Oakland, California and Skill Training at Balin Institute of Technology for Computers. He is also a graduate of Don Martin’s School of Broadcasting in Los Angeles, California before he started career as a Disc Jockey at the age of 14.
He later joined the U.S Army, and when he left the Army joined the family owned Janitorial Company.
As a curious young man who wanted to see and visit other places, he moved to Southern California and became a Correctional Officer at C.M.C. in San Luis Obispo, California, a Maximum Security Prison for the State of California. On leaving State Security job, he became part owner of a Solar Power Company, worked for two Clubs as a Disc Jockey, before working for Airwave Record Label in Hollywood, California as Artiste Manager, and spent over thirty years in the Entertainment Industry by working as a Master of Ceremony, Personal Manger and Business Manager for several Artistes.
In 2005, he was presented with a Humanitarian Infrastructure Project for Ghana, Africa. The following years have been spent following the necessary procedures of protocol to bring forward the proper Memorandum of Understanding, bringing to the Project Professional Construction Companies, Energy Power Companies, Wireless Communication Companies and several other companies, but most importantly, the proper Personalities that saw the vision, to help so many deserving people in the Countries of Ghana, and Togo as well as additional Countries that will be welcomed into the Humanitarian Infrastructural Project.
As the International Director of HPGH Global Foundation, via the Administrative Company and with the assistance of the organization’s Attorney, has also brought forward the required funding sources to fund the Humanitarian Projects.
These and many more earned Michael Bass, the prestigious Honor of African Global Peace Award as the Prince of Peace Ambassador.
The Prince of Peace Award/Certificate were presented by The CEO of Music Africa Awake , Prince Emeka Ojukwu (The Prince of Peace), Pastor Ambrose Onyekachi and the Media Director Amb. Bob Ikediala
